The gym itself is fine, but I would advise against joining or at least being on your toes when you sign your contract. My wife and I were just charged a 30-dollar (each) ""annual lock-in fee"" to ensure that we continue to receive the rate the gym promised us when we signed our contract. Meaning we still get the rate they agreed to on our contract... as long as we pay an additional 60 dollars.
Admittedly, this nonsense is included in our contract fine print, but was never pointed out to us at the time. This is just one more example of the sort of shady practice that puts places like this on the same level as a backwoods used car dealership.
Read your fine print or they'll gouge you just like they did us.
