Good: I love the shows and the fact that this place is away from it all, but right downtown. The actors and actresses get paid through tips, and are all locally drawn, so maybe those that have attended were expecting professionals. My husband and I have always enjoyed the shows and the people are so friendly!. Bad: It's an old theater and building in general, and could use some physical improvements, that's what makes it possible to dress casually and still see some quality productions close to home at non-broadway prices. Seriously, for anyone that has tried to take their family to a broadway production this is a BARGAIN compared to the prices of some musicals, with dinner included!. Improvements: The menu has some consistent "home-grown" crowd favorites that are paired with a theme from each show, but it would be nice to see a bit more variety.. Other: The prices seem steep, but I've always considered the prices for the show and the meal. I would expect to pay as much at any theater. I love the cozy atmosphere and the pleasantness of the actor/actress servers. My family saw "Oliver" and my husband and I saw "Damn Yankees!" and were completely impressed with the exceptional casts, particularly the leading actresses in both. We can't wait to see "Joseph" this summer! I agree, it's a hidden treasure..
