Remember when we were growing up,The items one would see in stores ? From the moment one walks through the door at Washburn`s general Store , its like stepping back in time to see the items again that our grandparents would shop for . Come on and admit it ; coffee for example would always taste better when you saw it perking on the old wood stove and the aroma seem to simply hang in your nostrils . Sure the good ole days were hard but It helped to give us appreciation for days and years gone by . The only thing about Washburns that I dont like is leaving such a vast collection of memories and enter back into a world filled with lack of respect for our fellow man . As I walk along in the store by the old kitchen wood stoves and well buckets I wonder what our grandparents would think today if they were here . After all ; They were in a generation that a hand shake was as good as having a document notarized . For these reasons and plenty more like them I give washburns general store a five star rating and a big thank you Lord for them .\r
