Good casual bar 2/5/2006

The Warren Tavern is a fun casual bar that has been around for years in Charlestown. It has an old-fashioned feel to it- they even have homemade potato chips that taste wonderful. They also have many soups and comfort foods to fill you up on cold nights in Boston. The Warren Tavern is a very popular place to go for a meal or drink among locals and some tourists that are in the know. It can be quite crowded especially on Thursday and Friday nights. The crowd ranges from late-30s to early 40s and is pretty casual. more

best chowda in the Boston area!!! 2/2/2006

go to Warren Tavern if you want to sample the best chowda in the world - no joke! The tavern is well known in the area, we happened to run into a local woman who recommended the tavern to us. Just down the street from the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown (just outside North Boston). Enjoy! more
