Warren County Animal Shelter

I got my first cat from this shelter and was very impressed with their facilities and the amount of animals they had. Their prices were reasonable for adoptions and the animals were already spayed or neutered. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a large selection of cats and dogs and other animals. Their hours are difficult if you work, but I would definitely go back to them. more

I stopped in here because the Warren County Animal Shelter offers a FANTASTIC program where they offer a spay and neuter certificate for only $60. That means that as long as you use one of the vets on the list you will only have to pay for the certificate to get your animal fixed. I was very impressed with this shelter. We have adopted from other shelters and it has never been that fun to go in. You walk out feeling better that you adopted, but feel so horrible about the others still awaiting homes. Warren County Animal Shelter is great. The animals seem happy~even though they are waiting for homes. There were a few cats who were happily loose. The dogs were not barking excessivly and seemed content. The place was VERY clean and the staff was very helpful. I would definately recommend this shelter as a place to adopt from or if there was no other option, but to turn your animal over to a shelter~take them here~they will be happy and cared for. more
