Warehouse Pizza

After reading the other reviews I started to wonder if we're all reviewing the same restaurant. It's loud and the patrons can get rowdy at times after enough beer. But then again, enough beer will make you forget that the pizza is over-greasy and the salad is unimaginative. I'm sorry, I don't expect fine dining, but a family salad is more than iceberg, one pepper, half a tomato and some ranch dressing. Spaghetti is overcooked, sauce tastes like it's from a can, the meatballs are gray(!) and taste like meat flavored cardboard. Free refills on soft drinks or ice tea? Think again! Is this the 80s? I can't even remember the last restaurant I went to or last decade, that didn't offer refills on at least the ice tea. What could be the saving grace? The staff! COULD BE... they're all Emo kids who need some serious, serious schooling in customer service. Extremely rude, uncourteous and immature behaviour. When you politely ask for a cup of ice, you can hear the barkeep audibly exhale in annoyance! The only reason why this place is still in business must be the walk-in customers from the nearby college, who don't really have any expectations. Even though they have a somewhat nice back patio, sorry, I'll never, ever go back. more

I have been eating at Warehouse since I was in junior high. It never changes and when food is good, it doesn't have to. They have generous portions and lots a lots of toppings. They have also outside seating and you can watch "Old Town La Verne" as you eat. It is located right by the college and after we eat, we visit the donut shop across for dessert. It's crazy, but it's tradition. Great prices and service. They also offer a bar in case you need to relax a little before a meal. more
