What else can I say? 2/4/2011

We recently moved and we are now too far from our original vet's office. We brought our dog to this office and we will NEVER EVER EVER take her anywhere else!!!! The office was clean & modern, the staff was so caring and helpful and the doctor was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything she was doing and spoke in layman's terms as to what the dog was ailing from. We have a large breed dog and the doctor was not apprehensive about it (some we have been to are very apprehensive about the larger breeds). She actually seemed to enjoy her job! A lot of vets we have been to don't have a bedside manner, but Dr. Bullock certainly does. We travel close to an hour to go to her office, and it is well worth it. If you are in the area, or willing to travel to the area, do yourself & your pets a favor and take them to Wantage Veterinary Hospital. more

My Dog Loves Going to the Vet 1/24/2009

Dr. Karen Bullock of Wantage Veterinary Hospital is my dog's vet. It's not an exaggeration, he loves going to the vet. Dr. Bullock takes a holistic approach and on one occasion recommend vitamins rather than drugs for an ailment my dog had. They also offer tech appointments (at a lower cost) for routine shots or tests when it isn't required for your pet to see the vet. But, recently all the fees have increased. more

  • Dr. Karen Bullock, our hospital owner, founded Wantage Veterinary Hospital in 2006. Dr. Bullock is a NJ native, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Since graduation, Dr. Bullock has been practicing veterinary medicine in Sussex County. You will find her to be compassionate and thorough – whether it’s a sick visit or an annual exam, Dr. Bullock will examine your pet from tip to tail –every time and make certain your questions are addressed. In 2017, with our hospital growing and our clients’ needs and expectations high, after much deliberation, Dr. Bullock asked her trusted colleague, Dr. Monica V. Ilardi- Carriera to join Wantage Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Carriera earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Carriera comes to Wantage Veterinary Hospital with extensive experience in general practice, surgery, and emergency. Wantage Veterinary Hospital is a full-service facility prepared for all your pet care needs – here for annual exam visits and preventative care and ready for an emergency at a moment’s notice.
