Wang Chia-Lien MD

She is a very nice lady, treats you like a person instead of just a $$patient$$. Takes her time. But... while she would make a great General Practitioner, she doesn't seem to have the specialization for an OBGYN. One extra complaint; her staff was disorganized and impersonal. more

Dr. Wang (pronounced Wong) is great. Very kind and gentle. Won't rush her patients. I guess that's why your wait in the lobby may be a little long, about 45 min. But she is worth the wait. I've already recommended her to a friend. And I have two close friends who see her, both with children. more

I used Dr. Wang with my first pregnancy and while I did like her I later ran into enough problems that I had to find a new dr. 1st complaint- with my first pregnancy she gave me an episotomy without even asking me about it.. it was totally unnecessary and the procedure is very outdated. (I have birthed a much larger baby since w/ no problems) 2nd complaint- after my first pregnancy I began to have repeated miscarriages. When I asked for some tests she informed me that non needed to be done as it was normal (I had already had 4 m/c's in a row.. at a very young age) so I switched to a dr. who was willing to help out, he found out there was a problem and helped me to have a successful pregnancy. 3rd complaint- I have a friend who has also had a similar experience.. Dr. Wang is a wonderfully sweet person but just is not good with any complications (this friend is dealing w/ pre-eclampsia again after having a preemie because of it in her first pregnancy... once again this time around Dr. Wang is not being careful of the complication) more

Dr. Wang is a fabulous gynecologist. She is wonderful at making her patients feel at ease and is great at taking the time to answer all of the questions that I might have. I have already recommended her to many family members and would tell anyone that she is a great doctor! more
