O.K., this school isn't going to make the top ten party schools, but it's a great place to start your college education. You can even take college courses while you're in high school. If you're an older student, they have plenty of services to help you get back in the study mode. The college offers a full slate of student activities and over 70 programs of study. Compared to other schools and especially private schools, the savings is tremendous. I know many students who have started here and gone on to pharmacy, dental and medical school. I'd say most area teachers and nurses began their studies at Walters State. It's a great school - always winning quality awards. Plus, the Library is amazing!
