Dr. Latimer addressed our one and only dog's needs for many years. She listened and explained what she thought was best for our pet and always considered what we felt was needed. At the age of 15 years, our dog passed. Within a short time of informing the clinic, I received communication from Dr. Latimer. I also received a personal, hand written note from Dr. Latimer and a notice of a $100.00 gift given to the vet school at TX A&M in our dog's name. It is great to know there is a great vet that truely loves animals. more

I highly recommend Dr. Latimer for her caring heart but mostly of her knowledge in veterinary medicine.  My story goes back for years, with my beagle Samantha.  Samantha started panting and feeling warm all over and nothing I did would cool her down.  I took her to my then vet around 8-10 times over the course of a year with no relief for Samantha. At my last visit I was told that Samantha had cancer and we should put her down.  I trusted my at the time vet because I had been taking my beagles to her for more than 10 yrs. My husband ask me to get a second opinion and that's when I took Samantha to see Dr. Latimer at Walnut Creek Animal Clinic.  Dr. Latimer did some test and found no cancer but found that Samantha had very high blood pressure. After Samantha started taking her blood pressure medicine, which is very inexpensive she immediately started feeling better.  Her ears were no longer red and hot, and she stopped her heavy panting.  It saddens me that she suffered for years going back and forth to my past vet that I trusted.  I thank God for sending me in the right direction to Dr. Latimer who found the problem right away.  Samantha would have been put to sleep by the other vet and I would have always thought she had cancer if not for Dr. Latimer. Samantha is happy and healthy now and I am happy to have her.\r My other beagle, Madison, had been extremely overweight since she was 1 year old.  My past vet put her on low fat dog food but that didn't help Madison and I feed her very little.  Due to her being overweight, she had ruptured a disk and had to have a very expensive surgery, her back knee went out and she had to have TPLO surgery which was also very expensive, and numerous fatty tumor removal surgeries.  I took Madison, age 9, in for an annual check up with Dr. Latimer and Dr. Latimer discovered through blood work that Madison had a very low thyroid.  She put her on thyroid medicine and Madison began to lose weight and became active for the first time in her life(everyone thought Madison was lazy).  Madison will be 12 years old this November and has no more fatty tutors, is at a healthy weight, and has the energy to run and play.  I thank God for Dr. Latimer.  She is the best.  If you are having a health problem with your pet, don't waste your time, money , and years of life of your pet.  Take them to see Dr. Latimer who takes her time, goes above the rest, and will find out what's going on to help your pet live a healthy and happy life.  My beagle girls love her.  I think they know she saved them.  I do know that she saved them. The staff is wonderful too. \r \r \r Sent from my iPad more
