I'm not a big fan of Walmart, but it has its uses, especially for cheap ammo or shooting accessories. I've been to about 5 or 6 in California, and the Oxnard store was the worst yet. Very crowded, for one -- they definitely need to open another store in the area, as this one is over capacity on weekends, more so than normal. The store layout is also pretty awful -- aisles are narrow, hard to see down, and not long enough to handle the categories of goods they are dedicated to. Almost any aisle is easily clogged by someone stopped with a cart. Even the area where you get carts is arranged wrong, and easily congested, unlike other stores, where you can just grab them from the open. It's ironic that a much smaller store, the Simi Valley one, is still less congested and easier to navigate. On the plus side, the employees at this store were courteous and friendly. Stay away from this place, especially on ""Welfare check"" weekend!
Pros: Nice employees
Cons: Overly crowded, bad store layout, small aisles
