Walmart Bakery

Maple Grove walmart has HORRIBLE customer service! i had tried to return something that they carried in the store without a reciept and they had denied me telling me they do not carry the item in the store. i proved them wrong by bringing the item to the register, still no care to give me store credit. I went to the BROOKLYNPARK walmart and had NO PROBLEM returning this item! more

I've been to lots of Walmart's over the years and some are just not very pleasant (like the Brooklyn Park store closer to where I live). So when I found this one just a mile or so from where I work, I make a point to stop here instead of the one closer to home. The food center is really clean and produce fresh. I have bought several items in electronics and the staff while very young are enthusiastic and helpful. If they don't have it at this store, they will eagerly find it for me at another metro area store. My wife likes the home stuff like towels and everything she needs in that area is always in stock. Plus the checkouts are never crowded. Yes this is a discount store, not Nordstrom, but it is really one of the nicest in the NW metro suburbs. more

Initially, when I went for a price estimate on tires/service, I had a great experience. The male was very helpful, friendly and knew what he was talking about. I went back the next day and stepped into unfriendly and incompetent customer service. Long story short: it took more than twice as long as I was intially told, the handful of employees who helped me didn't know what was going on (and were completely rude!) and, in the middle of me missing a meeting due to this cluster/mess, an employee came in for a new battery upon which the male employee helping me stopped what he was doing for my services to talk/flirt/help her. Go to Walmart for tires but NOT this location. Pros: Price Cons: Customer service and pretty much everything else! more
