Hammond Walmart is horrible in the treatment of customers. Customers are not treated as valued shoppers, but perspective shoplifters, trouble makers if they ask to speak with management over a problem, and all the hammond location values is the ""all mightly dollar, and inventory control"". Hammond Walmart's so called ""loss prevention"" prey upon lone women shoppers as possible profiled shoplifters, both men and women customers (especially non white, ethic types ) are targeted as possible ""profiled targets that may steal"". Managment of the store is terrible. Employ treatment is terrible, with employ moral at a low. Employees must submit to schedule changes, no set schedule in many cases, low pay, hour cutbacks, and are discouraged from forming an employee union of any sort. The Hammond location is known for rudeness and mistreatment of customers not customer satisfaction or help. This location is even worse since it's ""remodel"" in 2008/2009. The store is mostly always a ""mess"", items are not priced, or marked, customers are given a hard time with return or damaged items, warranties are not always honored. Beware if you shop there. Why should customers spend their hard earned money in a store that has absolutely no appreciation for them, their time, cash, or patronage?
