Wonderful pastries, vegetables and juices 11/9/2005

Wallkill view farm, located on the outskirts of New Paltz, just over the bridge, is a great place for local farm produce, as well as really delicious baked goods (apple turnovers, muffins, bagels, etc.) They have the typical farm stand goodies like cakes, pies and jams, and their candy apples in the fall are incredible (we ordered some for guests at our wedding). more

Wallkill View Farm has a great selection of fruits and vegetables for those who love fresh foods. This place is always bustling with people, not only from the local area, but those from out of town as well. The selections are incredible and the size of these fruits and vegetables are enoromous. You can't find these in any supermarket without paying a lot for it. Luckily, everything here is cheaper than the big stores. It's even better when you can choose the amount you actually wish to buy instead of having to get them in bunches and paying for extra. They also sell the best flowers I have seen in the area. A trip to Wallkill View Farm is always worth it. You can't go wrong by making a stop. more
