Wallaby's has been one of my regular hangouts for years. I've had awesome service and wonderful food, except for the one time it was very busy in the restaurant. That evening, my waitstaff was spread too thin and it resulted in a subpar order. I will continue to go back, unless it's jam-packed. more

Good atmosphere, Good food 12/13/2005

Much like an Applebee's or Old Chicago, this Sportsbar/Restaurant is a nice place to kick back and watch a game on one of the numerous overhead televisions. The place is decked out in Iowa State memorabelia which provides fun converstaion topics. The food is good, but the menu doesn't deviate from anything very typical. A good Ames choice! more
