Recently shopped camera department in Middletown, NY Wal-Mart. The associate, Herb, was so helpful and knowledgeable I have to thank him and hope he is appreciated for the good service and friendly advice he has to offer customers. Glad to thank him and will go back if Herb is there to help. more

Why kill ourselves over Walmart? 12/4/2010

Why do people shop Walmart and then come here to complain about it? Why not shop somewhere else? Lets think outside the Box. There are plenty of other great retail stores everywhere who employ people that are courteous and intelligent, who would love to see us shopping their store once in a while. Lets all quit marching as lemmings into Walmart, and find another place more enjoyable to shop, even if it costs a few cents more. If we allow ourselves to shop outside of Walmart, we might just find shopping to be an enjoyable experience again! more

a shopper's purgatory 4/15/2006

Wal-Mart is never the best place to shop, but this place has all-too-frequent shopping disasters. We were there recently on a Friday night, for instance, and got in line at 10:00 pm. There were six or seven people in front of us, and we didn't get checked out until nearly 11:00. By that time, there was a huge line behind us, and lots of people wishing they'd stopped at ShopRite. it's a Wal-mart... 4/13/2006

I think Wal-Mart is the same everywhere. Many times, even though they have the best prices on most stuff, I avoid going there because of the hassle. This particular store has a horribly arranged parking lot. They never seem to have enough checkout lanes open when the store is busiest. I can't figure out why there are so many checkout lanes in the first place. Anyway, they do have good prices, so I do venture to the store a couple times a month. http://www.walmart.com more
