Wal-Mart

Living in a home with a washer and dryer is a luxury, I have learned. Living in an apartment without such luxuries means frequent trips to the Laundromat. It’s not as easy to tote your clothes in a laundry basket before, so I was introduced to the laundry bag. A basic drawstring bag is the way to go when you use a Laundromat. I own several now, after several years living in apartments. Wal Mart is a great place to pick these up at a lower price, especially since wear and tear can mean you have to buy new ones often. For under $10, I can fit at least two loads of laundry into one bag. Not bad, right? Wal Mart is definitely my go-to place for these bags, but Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond are good places to try as well. http://www.walmart.com more

I am not a fan of Wal Mart in general, particularly their business practices, however it is sometimes necessary to shop there when I can't find an item I need in another store. This Wal Mart in Newburgh was recently expanded to become a Super Wal mart. I know the prices on groceries are supposed to be lower at Super Wal Mart than other grocery stores, but I would rather pay a few cents more to a more ethical company than deal with the sheer, chaotic madness that is the Newburgh Wal Mart. Their parking lot is the size of a couple football fields. Their prices are good as promised, but it's not worth it to me. more
