Horrible customer service 9/6/2018

I have been shopping here for year's. And the crew they have now are a bunch of dimwits. Nobody I run into has any social skills whatsoever. And the assistant store manager Mario is a complete jerk. How he got this position, IDK. When you work customer service you are supposed to hire vivacious people that actually want to deal with the public. Their hiring manager is worthless. They used to have a woman named Francise and she knew how to choose people. If you are looking for a horrible customer experience, go here. Anti-social zombies working overnights, exception would be Roderick, that seem like down is the only way they can see. And their produce scale is off on purpose, so when people get to the register it weighs almost half more and I can only imagine the fortune they are making selling extra produce to ignorant shoppers that 1. Don't notice 2. Don't want to put the stuff back once at the register. This is something that a lawsuit could settle very quick. Anyone out there want to make money and have enough to hire the lawyer you will get rich off of there scale scam. I can only imagine the extra annual profit they get by the scales being off. You have to watch out for things like this. One more word of advice..before you ever buy anything there, check Amazon, other store's, etc. Because they have a flashlight for $24 dollars there that is going for 2 for $18 on Amazon. Also, don't buy a game there unless you check your Xbox or PlayStation store first. Sometimes the game will be free with EA or Live, sometimes free, sometimes half the price as the store...And they will have that game at full price or maybe discounted but never near the price online. They are scam artists and cut corners any way they can. I'm sure a good lawyer could find many reasons to have this place under scrutiny. Do you think I like the place, lol? more

AVOID VIVIAN in the cellphone department 8/7/2006

this lady is still totally CLUELESS..... as to good customer service. YES, I made a mistake, and bought a cellphone at Wal-Mart last year. and YES, when Charlene's phone croaked right before she left on a trip in May, I broke my cardinal rule 1. NEVER buy a phone at wal-mart 2. NEVER buy a flip phone 3. NEVER buy a phone that does not have NOKIA on it. the paperwork that Wal-Mart gives you, clearly says that they will exchange defective equipment. this lady already went one round with me, and lost..... her district manager overruled her, and refunded the money for my phone I got last summer, with no hassles, after he calls the local store and tells them to expect me. Now, the phone we got in May..... for me to use , since Charlene wanted a NOKIA like I had, and they didn't have any at Wal-Mart, and etc times 5...... I have had Cingular download updates. I have had Cingular change the SIM card. I have had Cingular tell me if the problems with no signal continue, to take the phone back where I bought it, and get it exchanged. Hence , my conversation with VIVIAN last night... as I was passing the kiosk, with a new television I was buying...... One of these days, I am gonna have to bring my paperwork in for THIS cellphone, and have you swap it. Cingular said it is not working right. Her response is, if its over 30 days since I bought it, she isn't going to exchange it. I reminded her that I had her area supervisors PRIVATE CELLPHONE number in my directory, and she already had lost one round with me, and that is NOT the walmart policy. why do stores keep employing ignorant people to directly interact with customers??? And after having me dip them eyeball deep in the goo, why do they still want to go down the path of stupidity, which will get them another reprimand??? I think she needs to be stocking shelves at night, where she will not be giving customers false information guess its time to call the area manager AGAIN,,,,, and suggest the store manager and staff need some further study on company policies. more

the biggest game in "Green Acres" 3/31/2006

its hard to beat the big dog, and usually everything is in stock, and a good price. but you really need to avoid the cellphone display there.... there is a dark haired lady that works cellphones, and she has NO IDEA what she is doing.... walmart will sell you a phone, but if you need service after the sale, well, drive an hour to texarkana, and get the phone exchanged there, regardless of what walmarts paperwork tells you. however, in their defense, they did reimburse me 8 months later, after my THIRD phone went defective under the one year warranty.... the area manager made it right. more
