This was my experience on 1/08/12 at WAGGING TAILS DOG GROOMING @ Walbert ave. South Whitehall...I took my female jack russell whom i loved and owned all of her 6 1/2 years..She recently had mammary cancer surgery in November, i thought i would treat her to a good grooming..\r
I found Wagging tails online as it was near my sons home..I arrived for my appointment and was met by a Rose,who told me to go home and she would call me when she was finished..This was something i never EVER do, especially as this was my first time at this groomer.I told her i will wait.\r
She took my dog to the back and within the first 5 minutes, i heard my dog YELP!...I am in a wheelchair and spend 24/7 with my dog all her 6 1/2 yr life..No one was out front with me,as i had to wait to ask about my dog...Finally 15 minutes later a woman came out,i asked why my dog yelped?..She quickly denied my dog yelped and went to the back where my dog was and i could hear her tell Rose the guy wants to know why his dog yelped..Within 5 minutes Rose came out with my dog,i asked her why my dog yelped. She denied my dog yelped,then said there were other dogs there,but as any loving dog owner knows every cry,wimper,bark,and pant,they know their dogs cry!!..Rose gave me my dog and immediately went into the backroom...The other lady,the owner i presume,returned and then again i asked why my dog yelped??..She denied it again!!..I called her a liar and told her i spend 24/7 with my dog and know my dog yelped..I gave here an oppertunity to be honest,was the nails cut too close to the quick?? or maybe a honest pull of the leg,,,nope not them,,,,they stood by the imaginary ""your dog did not yelp""!!..I told her i would pay her 31 bucks, but that i was never coming back and she was a ""fing liar!!...I hated to swear but i know for a fact it was my dog who yelped and the look on her face told the truth as she was a bad liar!!..\r
She said it never happened!!..I could not believe her!!..I guess i was hearing things...So this is a WARNING to all who go there, NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE WITH THEM!!...As for my baby,she will never ever be a customer at this so called groomer..My dog has been to many other groomers,and has never yelped and been lovingly treated well by others..Remember, if they lie,it's time to say GOODBYE!!...So if you love your dog,find a good groomer!!. \r
