Vulcan Video

Vulcan is located near the Drag and 29th, perfect access for all those students living in West Campus. My dorm was only a few feet away in fact. We would frequent Vulcan video at least 2-3 a month for an good film to watch in the main room with a big screen. I have never been a huge fan of anime; however, some fellow dorm-ates talked me into watching some rented from Vulcan. To my surprise, I actually liked the majority of it; however, I would have never really given it a chance considering Blockbuster down the road had nothing like what had rented. Vulcan carries much more than Anime, they have B rated movies and other stuff you just won't find at a corporate store. Look to Vulcan to provide you with something you've never heard of or something you've been dying to find. more

The best video store in town if you're a movie buff! If you get on a kick for a certain director (as I often do) it's really helpful because here they have sections organized by director (Woody Allen, Orson Wells, etc.). Their cult section can't be beat! Want a laugh with some friends? Go into the cult section and rent some of the worst sci-fi or horror films ever made! They have a great selection or foreign films too, including great Hong King action films that I haven't found any where else! more
