Voyager Deep Sea Fishing & Dolphin Cruises

We book with voyager every year we come down on vacation. We did the 12 hour fishing trip. The captain Justin and first mate Tyler did a amazing job!!! Already talking about our next trip.\r more

It was a little hard to find even though i looked at the map. be ready to turn right after carrabas if heading north. even if you make reservations you still have to arrive early and wait in line. there are bathrooms and refreshments available while waiting. the cruise down the waterway was pleasant with incredible views of waterfront homes, marinas and communities. when we arrived to the jetty, we could see cresent beach to the south and ocean isle and sunset beaches to the north.they had crackers, chips, water and beer and such available on the boat. we were on the smaller 70' boat. the upper level is the best place to sit as you can see the view on both the port and starboard sides. as we were cruising up the waterway, we passed the docked and empty sea screamer. when we reached the ocean the water turned rougher and the boat rocked a little as to be expected. once in the ocean the pilot informed us that there was a shrimp boat to the north of us that had dolphins behind it and we would be there shortly. when we arrived to there he old us that he would turn the boat from side to side so everyone would get a view of the dolphins, which he proceded to do numerous times thus allowing everyone numerous close-up views of a big, spread out pod of dolphins. while watching, the sea screamer came screaming up and did the same as our boat, the other voyager 100' boat and a hurricane boat were doing. all of us were happy we were on our boat because we had a roof over our heads and though it was a bouncy, rolling ride at sea in our slower moving vessel, we knew they had to have had a very rough and slamming ride at the speed they were going. more

We had a family reunion in Myrtle Beach. From young to old we all did either the dolphin cruise or the half day. None of us were disappointed. Some of the men decided that they had so much fun they are talking about a trip back in the spring and doing the whole day trip. They came off the boat loaded down with fish that one of our members won the fish pool and had two stringers full of the best looking fish I have seen. Thanks for making a memory that will last forever and maybe even a tradition. more

My friends and I were in the area again and I wanted to take them on your Gulf trip. Went to where you used to be in Calabash and wow how things have changed. The people there were rude and nasty!!!!! So I called the number I had and found out you moved and we went straight to the new location. So glad we did :-)! We had the trip of your lives. The ride from the new location is a bit longer but we saw people horseback riding on the beach on our way out. Amazing the sights we saw. The new location is awsome with lots of parking. Kudos to that. Now about the trip. Love the gally guy his food was awsome. We laughed so hard at Captain Larry,La, and Bob. It's great to see the same faces and two new ones. We caught king makeral, amber jacks and trigger fish. Thanks guys btw they were so good when we got back to the condo. We will be back next month and are coming back on the boat. See you soon more

we happen to be in the area for Christmas and we called to find out if they were doing any fishing. They were doing some trips but they also let us know they were having a Christmas Cruise. That sounded like alot of fun for the whole family. So we did and we had such a wonderful time I am still talking about it. We saw a lot of boats dressed up for Christmas and houses along the water. The kids favorite was the lighthouse and of course the food.. lol. The cookies and treats for the kids was a very special touch. Its nice to see a company that is doing for the whole family. I want to thank them for the special holiday treat. Job well done and everyone was so pleasant. When we come back we will be bringing to other family's and cant wait to go fishing and do the dolphin cruise. more

I just read all the reviews and I just cant get over them. So here is my experience. The weather was perfect but windy and we were told before we left that its gonna be a roller coaster ride for a bit. That told me if you cant stomach it dont go. Well I can and did. On the day we went the crew brought up two sharks one was almost 9 feet long and the other well alot smaller but we caught so many fish. I believe I was a lucky one. The crew were always on their feet and answered all questions and untangled the lines when needed. I didnt know they were so fun to be around and Capt Larry came and met with us and checked to see if we were enjoying our trip. Kudos to the Capt and Crew. Cant wait for the season to start again. I am coming back more

Me and my family went out on a 1/2 day fishing trip with Capt. Larry, and it made our vacation! We had plenty of room on the boat and Capt. Larry took us to some great fishing spots. Since I have been coming to the area, I have tried many of the fishing fleets and this is by far the best! Even though there were only two crew members working they made it seem like everyone had there one personal crew member helping them. Bob and John did an excellent job! they were very knowledgeable and fast! They even helped my son to catch his first fish! I highly recommend the Voyager and its crew to every one, if your looking for a great time! Thanks again guys! see you next year. more

The fishing was great on the gulf stream, and the crew was very helpful any time we needed them. Caught plenty of Vermillion Red Snapper and Grunts, also had some Amberjacks, Porgies, and Triggerfish. Captain Larry always moved the boat around to make sure we found lots of fish. The boats were clean and the rods were nice. On the way out we talked to the crew and they had plenty of information to give us about the trip and what we would see/catch. Overall it was a great trip and I'd recommend them to any for fishing in North Myrtle Beach. more

Me and a friend just got back from a 12hr bottom fishing adventure on one of their boats with 12the other people and had a great time. Fishing was very busy and the captain made sure we were always on the fish. We caught snapper, black sea bass, dolphin, sharks, grunts, trigger and a whole lot more I recomend this trip the mates and the young captain were great. One word to the wise ifyou have never been on a boat take something for sea sickness they will not come back in because you are sick and that's one thing we appreciated. Good job guys. more

WOW! What a great day! Thank you Capt Larry and all of your mates! We had last minute change of plans and ended up on the voyager 3 for a full day of fishing out in the gulph stream. Fish we caught and alot of them! Special thanks to Jason and Bob, job well done! more

My five member family and I took the dolphin cruise out of North Myrtle Beach. The weather was perfect and seas were great. We saw at least 15 different dolphins, several of which were right off the boat. The crew was extremely friendly and tried their best to make sure everyone was having a great time. Everyone got to see dolphins up close and the crew even hauled in a small net of sea creatures (small sharks, a manta ray, some fish and crabs) for everyone to see. Overall a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to all interested. more

Went for the 2 hr dolphin cruise. Very friendly crew and seemed more like an education exhibit than just a cruise. They were showing us all the different ocean life and telling us non-locals what we were seeing. It was awesome! Clean boat. Oh and we saw about 10 dolphins up close and personal for a long time.Highly recommended! (bring a jacket) more

Our dolphin cruise was a blast! Seen quite a bit of dolphins, the boat was not over crowded like the others, and the workers were very friendly! LOVED IT! will be back everytime i visit myrtle! Would definitely reccomend. PS> Even though they had no mayo on the boat for my hot dog it was an amazing adventure! more
