I am recommending this company and I could not be happier! The whole experience from start to finish was smooth ? they came over to assess my move, gave a price in writing (and it didn?t change on me!!!) , the moving team was terrific! Each member of the team worked hard and with great care. Their attitude was excellent, and they really worked together as a team who helped each other throughout the move. They were all polite, and helpful. On the whole, the experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend Voted # 1 Glendale Movers to everyone I know who will be moving more

Voted # 1 Glendale Movers team did an outstanding job. I had so much stuff and they didn't complain--just helped me with everything I needed. They came prepared and their mission was to be efficient, kind, and get the job done, which they did. Apparently they were not told there were stairs and no elevator at my new place and they adjusted quickly to the more difficult situation with no complaints. This is a little behind, but the point remains the same. Late last month, signed a lease for a new place. Problem being, it didn't clear til less than a week before expected move-in. I decided to call movers this time since I'm still new to the city, and the last two times I used a U-Haul I managed to hit something. I call these guys maybe 5 days before I was supposed to move out. They didn't have an opening that weekend except Friday morning (and I called Tuesday), and with only their pickup instead of their moving truck. That said, I didn't have much stuff to move, so that worked for me. And it was kinda my fault it happened this way anyway, so I was fittingly thankful for it. Tip that pretty much applies to all movers, but still: Make sure you pack your stuff beforehand. This is something I learned living in another city before, but was all the more apparent here. While I practically finished only an hour before they arrived (and I pulled an all-nighter doing so), the movers thanked and complimented me for doing so, and it made the job a lot quicker. And how quick it was. The entire move, from their arrival to drop off was just over I was amazed at how quick it went. Plus, despite my suspicions at my own capabilities in minimizing total space, they still managed to pack everything, EVERYTHING into that pickup. A nice added bonus was the friendliness and great workmanship of the two movers. They got along well, and it was rather chummy to say the least. Finally, given the recent economic situation, it was pleasing to see them come at a relatively inexpensive rate. (And the fact that we went quickly kept the rate at a minimum) If I stay in this city and need to move again, I know who to turn to. These guys were awesome. more

I highly recommend this moving company to anyone moving: house, condo, or apartment. I actually researched moving companies when preparing for our move from a 3rd floor apartment to a house. Due to a bad moving experience a couple of years ago (bad service and charged us way over what the quote was because we had "heavy boxes") I wanted to check out reviews from previous customers. I found information about Glendale Movers on their website, and then read many rave reviews on Google. It had the most positive feedback out the 4 or 5 different moving companies I looked at. I first had narrowed it down to two. Glendale Movers had me fill out a form online, marking the number of beds, TV's, couches, boxes, etc. Then they emailed me a quote, which ended up being around $1500 for 3 movers. They did not charge any extra for stairs, mileage, or moving us on a holiday (Memorial Day). The other moving company actually sent someone out to our apartment to take a look around and give us a free estimate. The guy went to each room and wrote down everything we had....basically wasted about 2 hours of my day off. He then emailed me the quote later which was around $2500. Pretty ridiculous for a small 2 bedroom apartment! We went with ORI, and I'm very glad we did. The 3 movers were great: hard workers, many years of experience, quick, and friendly. They talked and joked around with me, all while working their asses off and stopping only once for a break (which is saying a lot, since our apartment was up 3 flights of stairs!). They ended up setting down the last box at the 3 or 4 hour mark, on the dot. The total was exactly what I had been quoted. My one small complaint was that they showed up 20 minutes late. However, they didn't start the clock until the minute they grabbed the first box. more

I recently moved with Glendale Movers and would definitely recommend them. First, Relocation manager was a pleasure to talk to and thoroughly reviewed all aspects of the move with me. Second, they delivered what they promised – over delivered, really with three guys and their truck to move me from a studio to a one bedroom. Third, the movers were efficient, cautious, and friendly, to boot. They checked with me on several items they had questions about before they attempted to move anything and they took extra precautions to ensure that my fragile pieces were well cared for during the trip, I marked all boxes with fragile labels. Overall, I was very pleased with the move. more

I have recently graduated from college and needed a good price to move a considerable amount of items, though not as many as a typical move. I called to Glendale Movers, the rates were reasonable and they took care of everything. The movers were on time and had everything secured on the truck promptly. They even held my plants! Next time I move I will use this service. more

I am no stranger to moving around so I have seen the best and the worst movers and packers so when I called Voted # 1 Glendale Movers I did not exactly have very high expectations. Let’s just put it this way after all the problems that I have had with some of the companies I see movers and packers as a necessary evil. I do my own packaging because that way at least I can be sure that I have done my best to protect my things. I was expecting some damage when my things were delivered to Denver but to my utter surprise nothing was broken and this is the first time that my stuff was actually delivered on time. So I am certainly very impressed with this company. If you want your things to get to your destination in time and safe you should definitely consider them. more

I have used Voted # 1 Glendale Movers – Glendale Moving Company twice now. The first time was from Glendale to Pasadena, the second was in town. Not only are the prices reasonable, the whole staff is friendly. I have experienced two different teams and they have both been very patient in explaining all steps. They even answered question that I posed as "what if I did" options. I will recommend and use them again. more

On time and on the money, at 6:00 am I was packing up the final things, and by Eight I had received a phone call that my crew was on their way, from the driver! I was hoping they would get going by 9:00 and they were actually early, we got going, with plenty of guys, and I was moved by Early afternoon. The crew was neat, well groomed, and courteous, and they paid carefull attention to things, double padding and shrinkwrapping a couple of pieces I was worried about. I ended up tipping them around 15%, I might have done more, it was worth it. Thanks guys more

Not only did the moving crew of Voted # 1 Glendale Movers – Glendale Moving Company show up a little early to get a head start on the move, they properly packed up the valuable furniture. Plus, the driver was able to back the truck in to my driveway--which is a very tight squeeze! This is what a moving company is all about! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED more

I moved with Voted # 1 Glendale Movers – Glendale Moving Company on June and had an excellent experience. The lady I was talking to before my move was very helpful. She gave me an accurate and detailed quote and explained about all possible charges. On the day of the move, the movers showed an hour earlier which I was fine with cause I had scheduled my flight on the same day and was worried I would miss it. They were done loading my stuff in three hours. They were very kind and efficient and I felt very confident that my furniture was in good hands. At the end I paid $53.00 over the estimated cost but I was fine with that. They delivered my goods after 6 days (I moved coast to coast) and nothing was missing or broken. They showed up on time, had me loaded in less than an hour and my stuff was in my new place within the 4 hours. Easy move. Would recommend this company to friends. more

WOW! These guys are the best. Rod and two other guys got my furniture and boxes moved and set up in record time! They were efficient, quick, and so nice on top of it! Rod's rates are lower than other companies I researched online.
