This place is TERRIFIC! 1/25/2008

We love this place and so do our dogs. They're always groomed beautifully, and never have ear problems as they have had previously. We've never been so comfortable leaving them for board, because they have such a good time. We get everything there we need for our babies, from food to toys and treats. Best grooming shop anywhere 1/15/2008

This place is wonderful. I went there for years with my 2 dogs and then we had to move away to another state for a job. Now we're back with our new dogs, and everything is just as great as before. I've read all the reviews on this site and as far as I'm concerned, they couldn't be more on the mark. The dogs always look beautiful and they love to go and stay, when we have to take a trip. The Best Groomers In S.Jersey 9/14/2007

I've had my dog Biskit (Lhasa Apso) since he was a puppy. He'll be 3 next week and over the years we've tried several groomers in our area. We were very happy with the service at our local Petco, but the 2 groomers who took care of Biskit since he was a puppy have left and we were stuck. I tried a different groomer there but he came home with razor burn. We tried the Petsmart but they just don't give the love and attention we feel he should be given. We were so blessed when we found out about Sal and Diane and learned they had an opening for Biskit. They showered him with love and affection and did a fantastic job grooming him. He has NEVER looked so good. They took care of everything from head to toe except for his teeth, which was no problem since we have that done at our Vet. I can't say enough about this place and the owners Sal and Diane. If you are looking for a new groomer look no further - this is the BEST place there is, hands down. Pros: doggie day care, boarding, excellent service Cons: none so far more

Best Shop Anywhere!!!!!!!!!!! 8/19/2007

This is the 3rd state I've lived in in the last 15 years, because of my job. I have never encountered a shop like this. I have two yorkies that other shops always told me were a real real handful. Apparently, if you know how to handle and treat the dogs right, it's not so. They have no problem with my babies at Voorhees. And I know they just don't tell me that because I see how the dogs interact with the owners when I pick them up. They always look gorgeous too. Pros: service, friendly, dogs love it more

Most Professional Shop I Know! 7/6/2007

I love everything about this shop . The people are great and so so helpful. Now Lee and Kathy should be there and they're terrific to. The grooming work is impeccable, the dogs love them and they have everything you need for your dog. And your cat and birds for that matter. As good as ever! 6/28/2007

Years ago, I had a dog that wasn't very nice but Sal perservered and groomed her beautifully. She was better behaved while she was at the shop than anywhere else,and after a few times, she loved them. Now I have a big maltese puppy that is much nicer and I'm right back at Voorhees Dog Grooming. Dog looks perfect every time. He goes to Doggie Day Care there and Boards there all the time. What a relief it is to be able to leave your baby where they love it and get treated soooo well. It's like leaving your child somewhere and I wouldn't leave them on some cement slab. Lucky Me! 3/11/2007

I feel so lucky, that I'm a Voorhees Dog Grooming client. I see how busy they are all the time, and they still spend time with everyone. They never keep taking dogs and giving mine less time than she needs, or ommiting important grooming tasks that they think a person can't see. I guess you can tell that I have been to other shops in the past that did just that. But now I'm at Voorhees and couldn't be happier. Pros: Everything more

I've been going there for years, and it's probably my favorite place to go out of all my errands.My Tootsie loves it there, She's also groomed beautifully and we both love to visit with Sal and Diane. She also loves to stay with them when my family goes away. I kept putting off writing my review (Shame on me) but I did vote for them in the best of citysearch and yep, they won again. Great everything at this place. 10/1/2006

There's nothing better than to not have anything hidden when you walk into a grooming shop. The first thing I asked when I made the appts. was if they use those dreadful drying boxes? Well they don't even have those things. They dry all the dogs on the tables by hand. I see that every time I take the dogs. They always look so beautiful and they just love the place. I love it because I can get everything there, including my cat food. Pros: Great owners, always willing to take time with you. Great pet supplies more

They groom my dog so well I just love it. They're very helpful to me, taking Misty out of the car when I get there, and putting her back in when I pick her up. I've never been to a grooming-pet supply shop quite like this. The owners are so helpful and nice. And they do beautiful work. They take all the time you need to talk to you if you need it. I'm really amazed! And, my dogs just love it here, what a plus. Pros: helpful, great people, every you want more

I just moved here from Delaware. My neighbor told me I didn't want to go anywhere but Voorhees Dog Grooming with my dog. They were right. I've never gone any place that my dog liked so much. He always looks great too. Pros: thoughtful, helpful, great people more

Sal & Diane are back, thank you God 5/3/2006

I'm soooooo HAPPY that Sal and Di are back even if it is just for a short time. There had to come back to evict Barb and her so called husband. I;m so sorry that such good people had to go through all that this couple put them through. They did my dog this past week and my kids look great again. They are training a very nice girl now that will be doing the same work that they do ( and I must say they do the best dogs in south jersey). I just have a good feeling this time that things will be good. The new girl (Denise) did the grooming on my kids this week and they look as if Di did they and I so happy. If you have gone the Voorhees Dog Grooming when Sal and Di was they for the last 30 years, please go back and see what Denise dose. I'm sure you will be very happy again. This is the second dog I have taken to voorhees dog grooming for the last twenty years. I'm up in years now, and Sal and Diane couldn't be kinder to me. My wife just passed away and they call me every couple days to make sure I'm o.k. they take terrific care of both of my dogs. Pros: gentle, loving, kind more

Surerior Grooming and Care 4/8/2006

VDG has taken care of my pets for over 20 years. Quigley loves going to visit Sal and Diane. They do an excellent job of grooming and caring for their customer's dogs. They are loving, gentle and kind. They are truly animal lovers. They have the best treats and healthy foods for all dogs. Pros: kind, gentle, loving more
