This place simple couldn't hang in during the economic downturn. It was been bought by a new owner, remodeling is underway and another restaurant should be opening there shortly...

The best crooissants outside of Franch 5/5/2008

My husband and I were blown away with the flakey croissants -- the best we've tasted outside of France. They are worth the drive! The other breads are lovely also -- with the taste of French flour. It's expensive, but well worth the splurge now and then. more

Great Food.....Bad service 11/30/2007

I love the homemade pastries and the wonderful sandwiches!!! Be aware though, not overything there is homemade. The desserts are brought in from a company and the soups are from another eatery. Even though I would reccomend this for the yummy Bearclaws and Breakfast Sandwiches, be aware the service is never timely and many times inaccurate. Pros: Coffees are WONDERFUL!!! Great Breakfast!!! Cons: NOt all homemade and service is VERY BAD more

Amazing ! This is a rare one . The food here has soul seldom seen in the corporate-lame watered down world we live in. The grilled chicken caeser sandwich is the incredible. more

Best Sandwich anywhere!!! 10/2/2006

Vive Voila, finally a place in Dallas that produces decent bread. Apple walnuts, Sourdough, Ciabatta and Baguette they all taste great. Forget Ms. Bairds, this is the real stuff!!! Pros: Good service, cheap prices, quick and healthy Cons: Nothing I can think off, maybe not enough seating inside. more

Awesome Sandwiches!!! 8/6/2006

Wow, I have been there yesterday for the first time and I think I will be back there a couple times a week from now on. They make the best sandwiches with freshly baked bread, what a treat. I tried the Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich with Basil and Olive spread, yummy. \r \r Pros: Good parking, friendly staff, great food Cons: They will have to expand soon, I think more

Voila c'est fantastique! 7/19/2006

Je n'arrive pas le croire, une boulangerie francaise a Allen. La baguette et les croissants sont comme en France. J'adore le ""Almond Croissant"" et le Pain au Chocolat. more

Nice bakery, bistro, reminds me of Europe. The oven is right at the entrance so you can watch them bake and smell the bread. 7/16/2006

Everything I tried was great. The breads are awesome. I love eating my Pain au Chocolat when I am in France and now I have a place I can go in North Dallas to get great Croissants, Danish and Baguettes, terrific!!! Pros: Everything is fresh, tastes like in France Cons: Always busy more

Best Baguette and Croissants I have had outside of Europe, period 7/6/2006

Finally a real bakery in DFW that doesn't work with frozen dough like all the other chains. I am so happy that they opened up in my neighborhood. I have almost tried every bread they offer and I have yet to find one I don't like. Apple Walnuts, Ciabatta, Sourdough, Rye, Jalapeno Cheese, they are all wonderful! Their Danish and Pain au Chocolat taste like in France. Pros: Kid-friendly, high quality food, nice patio Cons: Soemtimes very busy on Sat, Sun more

Best Bread and pastries in DFW, Great Sandwiches and Salads, everything is fresh, really nice patio 6/26/2006

Cute little bakery with nice outdoor patio. They offer in my opinion the best bread in the DFW area. D Magazine just voted their croissants the best in Dallas. The Sandwiches are to die for, fresh bread with high quality ingridients. The staff is nice. I love to sit on the patio on the weekends and have breakfast. The ambiance is nice and they play great music too. Pros: Ambience, Parking, Quality Cons: Sometimes very busy on weekends more
