Coming from the position of a being professional guy who wants a clean, current and stylish haircut for work and play, I cant speak highly enough about Sara Sandoval at Vogue Salon. Her knowledge of hair, trends, technique and products set her apart from any barber or ""supercut"" I have previously experienced. I knew going in that salons are more expensive than barbers and supercuts, but the difference is bar none. Thank you Sara Sandoval for the recent cut, and sharing with me your plethora of knowledge in hair, techniques, products and more importantly, making it applicable to me. Cheers! more

I have been a client of Vogue forever! Been traveling the world and NO-ONE can do what Donato does with my hair, the absolute best!!! Thank you for making me look like a million dollars every time you work your magic :)) more

The salon service was poor. I specifically made an appointment for a haircut only and all of a sudden the colorist was called and then they brought over the color. I found out later it was only semipermanent, and it seriously washed out after one week. When I went back the staff checked my record and couldn't believe that I had actually paid for color and my hair looked the way it did. The owner who cut my hair, came and he needs to relax and take it easy. Just take care of the customer instead of thinking about your ego! Nobody can disagree with him at the salon, he is rude and needs behavior modification lessons. Too expensive for nothing. Maybe Vogue Salon was good at one point but it is below satisfactory. more

I've been on the hunt for a salon I can commit to. And I think I've found it! Everyone from the receptionist to my stylist was phenomenal. (Sorry, I forgot my stylist's name!) Everyone listened to everything I wanted, took great care of me, and I ended up with a cut better than I imagined! I felt like I was in great hands. Not gonna lie, I don't have a lot of income to splurge on a haircut. So it's very important I get the most out of the time & money I spend on my hair. I've been to so many salons in the similar price range ie. Bombshellz (yikes!), Toni & Guy, etc... and none of them compares to Vogue. It's a great, relaxed and happy salon that is incredibly professional. I definitely need to go back for my next cut! more

From the moment I called to make my first appointment at Vogue Salon, I knew it was going to be a great experience. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, answering ALL my crazy questions about which stylist would be the best fit for me. Since my hair is not the easy to handle, I was super nervous to try someone new. The receptionist recommended the stylist Jenna, and I have been hooked ever since. When first meeting Jenna, she listened to exactly what I wanted and was very understanding of picking a style that would work for me and my budget. My main concern when finding a new stylist was their ability to rock out a fab blow dry...with Jenna not only can she make the frizziest of hair gorgeous, she also corrected my color and transformed the shape with a wonderful cut...still keeping the length like I had requested. Jenna is also extremely willing to be flexible with my schedule and come in whenever works best for me. This is a huge plus, because I now no longer have to worry about taking off work just to squeeze in a hair appointment. She is also very dedicated to YOU and never rushes her clients, making sure to take her time and get it 100% no matter how busy she is. Jenna and the entire team at Vogue Salon is truly focused on their clients. It makes such a difference when you are engaged by not only your own stylist but all who are working there. For all those gals out there who are as crazy as me when it coms to my hair...trust me, once you go to Jenna all your worries go away and all your left with is AMAZING hair! more

A good friend of mine recently recommended me to his favorite hair stylist Sara, at Vogue Salon in Newport Beach. Always secretly admiring this friend's hair but being too manly to say anything about it, I decided to give her a try. \r \r Right away I was blown away by the busy yet friendly atmosphere of the salon, being treated very well the minute I walked in the door. I especially appreciated this having often experienced the opposite, the receptionist being too ""busy"" sometimes even to acknowledge my presence. Here was something totally new to me, and I liked it!\r \r Sara was very friendly and I felt she was really the best of both worlds, at the same time really LISTENING to what I wanted yet also not afraid to make suggestions when I would babble. My haircut came out the best by far I have ever had, and she kindly offered me simple tips for styling on a daily basis that I never would of thought of on my own. I now know the secrets of how the movie stars get their hair the way they do! I have gone to Sara many times since, the conversations are great and the compliments never stop coming for my hair. THANKS SARA!!! more

I have had a horrific hair experience in the past and have been leery of getting my haircut since. Sara put all my fears to rest. By giving my hair style and teaching me the proper way to blow it dry I have confidence in styling my hair in between visits. When I needed to start coloring my hair I wanted to stay as close to my natural color as possible, again I trusted only Sara. I was surprised by the amazing results. Even my in-to-style teenage daughter prefers Sara to any other stylist. She makes her hair easy to manage and always looking great. See you soon Sara! more

Kai,\r Knows how to make getting a hair cut an experience. She listens to me and actually does what I want. She gives a great scalp massage, serves wine if you need to unwind. She is well traveled and makes for great conversation. You won't go anywhere else once she's weaved her magic into your hair. Pros: what a head massage! Cons: She is booked call in advance more

Saturday I had my 2nd color and cut appointment with Sara. I thought I felt amazing the first time I walked out of Vogue Salon, but nothing compares to the way I felt this time. I have been so afraid to cut my hair, but Sara put me at ease. I have never loved my hair this much. It's sassy and fabulous. Thank you Sara for all your help and friendship. Finally, I got a great cut and perfect color! I can highly recommend Kai Colomac at Vogue Salon, she is terrific -- my cut and color are beautiful! She listened to my concerns and got my cut and color right - I love my hair! Go see Kai at Vogue Salon (which is just off the 55 -so easy to get to!) more

A male client of mine is a regular of Jenna's and he always raves about the cut she gives him (he is really picky too!) so I decided to take a step in his direction and give her a try. \r \r The salon was wonderful when I walked in. I was greeted right away and everybody was so nice.\r \r Jenna took me back to her chair, I told her what I was thinking for my hair and she offered suggestions for a cut/color. She knew exactly what she was doing and was like an artist sculpting and coloring my hair. I have never left a salon before feeling so hot/pretty/happy/excited about my hair. I am extremely happy with the cut and color she gave me and cannot wait to go back!!!! Pros: Knew exactly what I wanted and gave the best cut/color ever! more

I have been to vogue a few times and have gone to both Donato and Liz. I must say they are the WORST at hair coloring. I never got what I asked for and I always walked out of the salon with a dark murky brown hair color rather than the rich golden brown I asked for. I have even shown pictures, but for some reason my hair ends up close to black every time I have been there. Liz is very rude and nosey and is not pleasant to be around. I would definitely not recommend this salon to my worst enemy, let alone my friend. Pros: Not many Cons: Rude, Don't give you the hair color you want more

Kai is and has been so amazing at cutting my hair for the last 10 Yrs!!! She has such an edge and amazing ideas but stills listens to what it is you are looking for! I recently started going to her for color and she is just as good as I imagined! I am so picky about my blonde and she nailed the color the first time!! If you are looking for someone to trust with your hair, I would call Kai in a heartbeat! more

After reading numerous reviews about how fabulous Liz is, I had to try this place for myself. Liz and her assistant Jen were amazing. I've always had difficulty explaining what I wanted for my hair, as it tends to be very heavy and flat. Liz and Jen really listened and delivered incredible results. I've never had a haircut and color with so much volume, beautiful texture, and vibrancy. Plus, Liz gave my great tips on how to take care of my hair. The experience was well worth the drive from WLA! Steve is not only the best stylist at Vogue, but by far the best stylist in Orange County! Besides his awesome wit and sense of humor, the man is a hair GENIUS! Not only has he been doing my cut and color for years (I get compliments on my color on a daily basis), but he recently did a Brazilian Blow Dry treatment on my hair and I'm in love! My hair has never felt or looked so amazing! You have to try have Steve try this on you, I promise you will not be disappointed!! Pros: Brazalian Blow Dry, Color, Cut more

I just had another FABULOUS haircut by Jenna! She is by far the best at cutting hair as anyone i have ever had. And I've had quite a few over the years. She takes her time, she cuts my hair dry, and it's the only haircut I've ever had that when I walk out the door of the salon, I don't have to wait for a week or two to go by until I ""grow into it"". I get so many compliments about my hair, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Rina does a great job. The way she cuts and colors my hair works great for my lifestyle and hair type. The staff (especially, Brittney) always provides a relaxing, professional experience. I've been going there for years....lately, I'm lovin' the salon remodel! I can use my laptop while under the dryer! more

i have been to many salons and stylists and i hands down can say that Jenna Abbate at Vogue Salon outdid all the rest. you will have to trust me when i say this girl knows hair. she knows what will look best on you, she takes control and confidence exudes from her. i have received more compliments on my hair color and cut than i ever have before. if you are looking for the keratin/brazilian straightening, she is your girl. again she is hands down the best i have been to. to be able to go to ONE stylist for straightening, color and cut and have it done to perfection is a hard thing to come by that is exactly what u get with jenna each and every time you see her. more

I heard about Jenna Abbate through a friend who is a regular with her so I booked an appointment with her at Vogue.\r \r Not only did she know exactly what I wanted, but she knew exactly what fit my face. In all honesty, I dont think I have ever recieved such a good cut and color.
