We had a party of 8 there for lunch a few weeks ago. They serve great chowder, nice salads, and fresh sourdough, all pretty quickly and with no fuss. It's a good place to take kids, as it's not fancy or stuffy. And take the server's advice and try the garlic-parmesan bread. It's to die for! A great place to eat, non-tourist prices (you'll save over $3 on a bowl of chowder as compared to restaurants on Cannery Row!). We're locals, and this is our favorite spot for chowder. Enjoy!
Pros: Value, service, prices
Cons: Parking can be a little tough
