Vivint has been taking my money for over 2 years now. I have been trying for over 1 week to cancel my account. I have called 3 times. I was told that I need to send an email and I sent the email today. Not only do I have to send an email, but I have to call back on Monday (again... for the 4th time) to verify that I sent the email. I asked to speak with a manager to have my account canceled, but was told that the person I was talking with was the manager and that I had to call on Monday. After asking her to simply cancel the account when she receives the email, she stated that the email goes to a different department and they are unable to cancel the account. I asked if that department can forward the email to her and she said they are too busy and get too many emails. \r

Vivint is a sham and is simply trying to keep my account for as long as possible so they can keep auto-billing my credit card. I asked back in August to have my account closed when my 2 year contract was complete in October. The person on the phone said they would note the account and that I just had to call back to cancel. I have now paid for October and November while having to make multiple calls and now send some ridiculous email. I haven't used the worthless Vivint system in over a year, but got stuck paying for their ""services"" for a full 2 years. \r
