This is a great restaurant. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. If you like Italian food this is the place. It also has a great wine selection including wines from local vineyards, which were very good. We will make this a regular stop when we visit Charlottesville. Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere more

Great Reataurant! 9/8/2004

Great food,service and setting!!!Perfect place for a date,special occasion or just a great meal! If the weather is nice they have the best patio in town.I loved the old world feel and the friendly staff. My favorite restaurant in Charlottesville or anywhere else! more

The best Italian in Charlottesville 2/10/2004

This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to in a while. The service was great and the atmosphere maid you feel like you were at home. The food was outstanding. Hats off to the folks at Vivace you have maid Italians every where proud. more
