Good, friendly and accurate service 8/15/2013

I grew up going to Dr. Vitale and used other eye doctors when I moved out of state. Now I'm back and using him again. He's a nice doctor, very trustworthy and honest. I have always received an accurate prescription and when I decided on Lasik he helped me through the process every step of the way and recommended a great facility nearby. I now have better than 20/20 and continue to do my annual check-ups with him. He has a comfortable and friendly office and in general I have no complaints. When I moved out of state it took me a while to find another eye doctor I felt comfortable with and I think that says a lot for Dr. Vitale. more

The Vitales are the Best 10/26/2011

Dr. Vitale is a great optometrist. His practice is beautiful and his staff is absolutely great. His mother Gail is one of the most open and kind women that I have ever interacted with. I felt like I was part of their family after spending one day at his practice. This family practice truly cares about their clients. Highly recommended. more

complaint 8/22/2010

Good: Convenient,down the street. Dr. V. is a specialist.. Bad: Myself, my daughter and my husband cannot adjust to our perscriptions. After going back and forth with complaints of in-ability to see clearer, he was constantly told he needed to get used to the perscriptom. Today my husband has cateracts in both eyes and Dr. Vitale missed. To this day my daughter cannot wear her glasses, as they give her headaches.. Improvements: We as customers need not to get used to our perscriptions. Either they are effective in helping us to see or plainly are the wrong perscriptions.... Other: Will not refer this Docter or Office.... more

A FAMILY YOU CAN TRUST! 4/28/2009

My eyes have been entrusted to Dr. Vitale for almost 20 years. He is a professional but not stuffy. You feel like your part of the family. Dr. Vitale's mother and Gail seem to remember everyone. They will greet you with a smile, ask you about your kids and your life. Now Dr. Vitale's daughter is part of the staff. Prices are good, the selection is fabulous and the service is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! more

Love Them 9/17/2008

I've been going to the Vitales since I was in high school. I'm now in my mid-30s and moved to the city, but still drive out to get my exams from them. Fantastic service and family atmosphere. And there contact prices rock. more

Great family run Eye Care 8/4/2005

Dr. Vitale has been my eye doctor for almost 15 years. They moved a few years ago into a beautiful new space with more room and display space. The mom is still at the front desk and offers a wonderful happiness to the waiting area. They offer a wide array of high end frames from Kate Spade to Gucci. Their contact lenses are cheaper than anywhere I can find, even online. They are friendly, well-educated, generous people who offer great service. more
