I have worn glasses for years and I am now at that age where I feel like the wrong pair of glasses makes me look a lot older than I really am. Honestly most of the glasses in most of the places I went all looked the same. Until I went to Visualeyes TOO. You can tell these people love glasses and they make it so much fun finding the perfect pair. I had a blast and came away with glasses I love. My friends and husband all tell me how much more alive I look in my new Armani. Plus the lenses they use are amazing. I have never been able to see this well with progressive lenses ever before. I will never ever buy glasses anywhere else and I am telling everybody I know to go there. more

After going to Coventry eye care on Central street for three years, I always felt they were a little too cold and not very helpful (the receptions and administrative team not the Doctor), not to mention their pricing is a bit unreasonable. So I decided to go some place where I and my money would be appreciated. After shopping around for a new place, a friend recommended Visual Eyes Too on Sherman and it was a match made in Heaven. I’ve been going there for five or six years now and I couldn’t be happier. The ENTIRE staff is incredible. Even the rare times where I had an issue, they are quick to resolve. Every place makes mistakes and there’s no utopia of eye glass wear and I’m a picky person, but again, I have been happy. Especially when I constantly call to reschedule my appointments, they are patient and willing to work with my schedule. It’s so great, I’ve been referring friends, family and co workers. more

I was in need of a new pair of glasses one month back and I had an eye exam at this shop for my eyeglasses, paid for the fee and purchased a pair of eyeglasses elsewhere. But when I got my new eyeglasses, I found my eyes are highly strained. And when I put on my glasses up side down, I felt much better. Then I went to look for my previous prescription and found out that my left eye is 2.75 and right eye is 2.5 but the new prescription the doctor gave me is 3.00 and 3.25. He made a mistake on my prescription! Then I went back to that store. The receptionist at the counter was nice, who checked my prescription on my new glasses and made sure that it is not the glassmaker's fault and then asked me to make an appointment with the doctor again. When I went back for the new appointment, I experienced the worst doctor I have ever seen. He played around with my new eyeglasses, then told me the prescription on the glasses was not made according to the prescription he gave me (later I checked in another store, the prescription was ABSOLUTELY right!) Then he said sometime the eye vision fluctuates,( but later I went to a professional optometrist, they told me the possibility that the case left eye and right eye reversed vision capability is insignificant.). Then he started to blame on the maker of my eyeglasses, gave me a new prescription with BOTH EYES 3.25. and asked me to request them to make them again! What can I say? This south American doctor (Dr F. M., O.D.) in VisualEyes Too is irresponsible, lack of doctor's professonalism and doesn't treat the eye health of his customers seriously. To be fair, what I can suggest to whoever wanna buy eyeglasses there: get the prescription somewhere else! more

What a great store, staff is really helpful. Selection of designer frames was great. There were some European frames that I could not find anywhere else. I have a pair and I love it. I got a great deal with free eye exam more

The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The "scratch resistant" lenses I ordered are completely covered in scratches after only a few months. They have not managed to get the glasses to fit me properly, and I am not sure I even received the correct prescription. Every time I go to the store to get my glasses adjusted (still trying) I am treated with disdain and made to feel that I am interrupt the vital web surfing of the receptionist. more

The eyeglass selection here is okay. Student discounts are available as well as discounts for faculty at Northwestern University. I was able to purchase a titanium frame and good lenses for a good price. The staff here is not very knowledgeable and seems to spend a lot of time on the phone. Also, the hours here are not very good. more
