I am a beginner at yoga, but after the first couple classes at Vista Yoga, I knew I needed to (and wanted to!) be taking classes there on a regular basis. I go to ~3 classes/week and love it. All of the teachers I've had are excellent. I am particularly excited about the new Therapeutic Yoga class. Decatur became a better place when this yoga studio opened last November. It is peaceful. It is warm. It is soothing. They offer many classes - and I go to as many as I can get to. The instructors are very knowledgeable -- but even more importantly, they are very generous. They have great energy and they like to share it. The owners - Marty and Marti - are genuine, down-to-earth, and committed to sustainability at many levels. It feels good to be there - and when I leave I feel somehow like I'm both lighter and more grounded. Its good stuff. more

I heard there was a new studio opening in Tucker and I couldn't wait to check it out. I live in Decatur, but it is totally worth the drive! Vista Yoga is such a beautiful, warm space. You walk up and right away see three terraced rain barrels. You open the door and there is Marty and Marti, the sweet owners, smiling to greet you. There are many beautiful items in their shop to choose from. They sell high quality mats and clothing. Beautiful art covers the entry (also for sale). The studio is top notch, green, grade A+ gorgeous. The teachers are knowledgeable, approachable and inspirational. There are many props to chose from and plenty of wall space. I feel safe and invited to practice here. This is the first time I have ever bought a class card at a studio. I have always been a ""drop in"" girl at other studios, but right away I purchased one because I knew I would be back. I am already on my second and will continue to drive out to Tucker for Marti's Power Yoga Class on Mondays. I look forward to it every week! more

After sampling YogaWorks in NYC in late fall and wishing we could have such a great studio near me in Atlanta, I heard my former teacher and her husband were opening Vista Yoga. True to their form and genuine gift of hospitality, Vista Yoga - by Marti and Marty Yura - is a place of respite, renewal and community. It's in the back of what used to be a local supermarket and I could not have imagined how nice the build-out would be. Soothing earthtones, beautiful artwork, high ceilings, warm wood bins, contemporary, yet utterly soft. You can sample from among some of Atlanta's top yoga teachers - and even better, try a deep tissue or relaxing massage with Zoe Reichmann or a Thai Yoga massage by Ms. Marti. Very skilled instructors, beautiful and relaxed environment, an array of essential products...I would recommend this fabulous studio to anyone looking for a laid back, organic yoga experience! The instructor was very attentive to the differing experience levels of the students and gave several different accomodations in posing. An absolute must for your health and well-being! more

Vista Yoga is a warm, clean and very inviting yoga studio. There are plenty of props such as blocks, blankets,straps and bolsters. Situated behind a convenient neighborhood shopping center it is quiet, well lit with ample parking. I have attended a variety of classes with several different teachers. It has been consistently good and always very welcoming. There is also a very lovely gift shop with delightful things to purchase.
