I've been going to Chatty for a few years to do my hightlights and i have to say she is great.Clavia has been cutting my hair for a while and she is amazing, she understands exactly how i want my hair. thank you, you guys are the best! more

Very upset that I've lost many of my colorists over the years, but I was referred to Jay, who when I tried to make an appt. with him, was out due to stealing products... Wth?! So us clients are expected to pay top dollar for cuts, color, products, but stylists steal? And I know that it's all about fashion, but some of the girls dress quite trashy. Sasha cut my daughters hair & I thought about putting her tip in her cleavage. The manager doesn't seem to understand anything & if you complain enough, she'll give you your services for free. Absolutely ridiculous. Beyond frustrated with the loud music, the LOUD stylists who think they're at the club... And to the owners: you do need to remodel, but please stop blaming the stylists for driving away the business. You have the $$$ to make the bathrooms bigger, get rid of the neon. Maybe if you didn't run a sweatshop, my colorist would stay, stylists wouldn't steal & you would get return business! Gosh... I'm sorry to rant, but I will not be returning to this location. I'm frustrated of being herded in & out at a rapid pace. more

I have given this place a try three different times. I think Myra is incredible. She is friendly, listens to the client, and does a fabulous job. Unfortunately, everything else is disappointing. Yes, it is over priced. It is very impersonal. I had to wait over 20 minutes all three times (once for 35 minutes!). I tried three different colorists- all three were just average, and no one appeared to really enjoy what they were doing. The hair care product has eaten up my hair. And other than Myra, it seemed that selling products was more important than coloring hair. I tried three times. I'm done. more

Charitza, who goes by the name Chatty is the best colorist I've ever used! I will not let any one but Chatty color my hair. Her years of experience and knowledge as a colorist makes her undeniably one of the best in the city! I'm a natural brunette and over the years Chatty has turned me into a beautiful blonde. I like taking risks and I am constantly changing my color. Everytime I come in to see her I can always count on her to deliver!! As much as I've highlighted and colored my hair, it's still very healthy! I absolutely adore her. If you are seeking an experienced and skillful colorist she is definitely your match! more

Mayra cuts & styles my hair & is AWESOME!! Also recently the lady that has colored my hair& been a friend for 30 years has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Sunday a couple of weeks ago I was faced with ""the unknown"" in the form of finding a new colorist. I went to ask Mayra's advise & Elennys listened to my dilemma & did an Awesome color as well!! My name is Victoria May, and Myra has been cutting my hair for a while now. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I love how she is very attentive to detail and she takes her time with her work. She makes her client feel special. She also has a funny personality. Myra is also an excellent hair stylist because she knows all about the products that she is using. I will never go anywhere else except for Myra to get my hair done. :) <3 more

BEST HAIR COLORIST EVER! 10/6/2010

Misha Williams is the go to girl for the latest color for the seasons. She can go from subtle to extreme, either way, she knows her stuff! I have not colored my hair in several years due to imagining disasters in the past and trying to get my original jet black hair color back asap. This girl knows her stuff, and makes me keep wanting to go back for something more all the time. I put my total trust in her and just say go with it because I know it will come out amazing no matter what! She is personable and is very knowledgeable on all of the product lines. I can't get enough of the new Paul Mitchell awapuhi line. Never going to anyone else again! more

Sandra is AMAZING!!! 7/12/2010

Sandra is an AMAZING stylist with lots of experience!! I just graduated from college and Sandra has been cutting my hair since the 7th grade. And throughout those 9 years I haven't been able to let anyone else touch my hair because no one cuts it the way she does. Before finding Sandra I used to always complain when I got my hair cut because it didn't look the way I wanted it to. But ever since Sandra I have not had even one hair cut that I did not love. She even helped me find and try out styles that I never would have seen myself trying and then ended up looking fantastic! I have recently introduced my mom to Sandra and now she is hooked on how fabulous of a job Sandra does. She really listens to exactly what it is that you want done to your hair and makes it look even better than what you could ever imagine! more

MYRA is the best!!!! 7/1/2010

Myra is an awesome sytlist!! My has been cutting my hair for about 8 years now. So, I have a friend that was in a horrible car accident and she is bed written and she could only sit up for about 30 minutes and she can only travel by amublance. So, I called Myra at Visable Changes and she drove out to the lady's house and she gave her an awesome haircut, it had to be cut short because they at knotted it all up and there was no way around getting the knots out. My friend loves her NEW haircut and style. MYRA is awesome, she went over and beyond to help out a client of hers. Pros: Available on the time!! more

Best in Houston Area for discriminating Blondes 4/22/2010

I have traveled all over Houston, from the Houstonian Spa, to Jacques Dessange on Memorial, to Qua Salon on Woodway and every other high end hair salon in Houston. I have spent thousands of dollars on my hair to keep it healthy, and BLONDE! Chaddy, at Visible Changes First Colony Mall, does it the best! I started seeing her when I was 15 for highlights and have always gone back to her after trying out new colorists at the ""Best Salons"" in Houston. I have been seeing her for my Blonde over ten years now and she never ceases to amaze me! She rocks! If you are looking for the perfect Blonde without brass or copper, she is your gal! Tell her Jessica from Boston sent you!!!! Yes ladies, I now live in Boston and fly to Texas for her to take care of my blonde locks! Good Luck! Pros: Chaddy listens and knows her stuff when it comes to blondes! Cons: Lots of kids, but go during the week, not so bad more

Indifferent 12/8/2009

This was my first visit to the Salon. I scheduled an appointment a day before- which was easy to do. When I checked in (10 minutes before my appt time), the girl confirmed I was there for a haircut and asked me to be seated in the waiting area. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time before heading back up to the front desk to ask what the delay was. The same girl who I ""checked in"" with, said I was never checked in! Needless to say, due to her unattentiveness I waited 45 minutes for a haircut. So... the stars go to Andre who ended up cutting my hair. He did a great job and I love my cut. I scheduled an appointment with a ""stylist"" but he's actually the ""artistic director"". I'm assuming they gave me him because they screwed up and made me wait forever. I found it was odd though that he never told me his name, just gave me his card when we was done. I honestly don't know if I'll go back... Pros: Open 7 days a week Cons: Front desk staff, loud atmosphere more

THE BEST!!!!! 10/6/2009

I have been going to visible changes for over 5 yrs. I get my hair cut by andre and crystal does my color. They have always done a great job. They always listen to me and give me new ideas when I ask. Crystal always knows whats best when it comes to changing my color. She's always honest and her product knowledge is awesome!!! Andre, my stylist, is always up to date on new hair styles and lets me know what ""really"" looks good, and what dosen't. He's so patient with me. Even when I'm having a bad day he knows how to make it all better. Crystal and Andre are an awesome team!!!!! They are professional, caring, understanding and very efficient. I would recommend them both to anyone who wants to look and feel great!!! Thanks Guys!!!!! Pros: SUGAR LANDS FINESTS!!!!! more

Great haircut 10/5/2009

I have been to JAY twice to have my hair cut & he does an excellent job! I have very thick hair with a short style. He blends and thins out my hair perfectly, making it really easy to fix in the mornings!! I tried out a couple places & no one compares. All the rest of the staff was also friendly. :) more

I have been going to Visible Changes in First Colony for 3 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Gabby is my regular stylist. She is so sweet and never cuts more than I request and always has ideas for new haircuts on me. Whenever I've tried going somewhere else my haircut has been botched and she always knows how to fix it. I have been using Visible Changes for many years and love my stylist, Andre. He is very talented, really listens and cares about providing the best hair cut for YOU! I appreciate his skills, his upbeat attitude and his many years of experience. My hair has many technical challenges and he gets it right every time. Crystal is my colorist and she is a gem!
