Vision martial arts does not live up to what it says. They gave my daughter a orange belt without so much as a test or even any specific instruction. If I went to them right now, they would not be able to tell me how to earn the next belt because there is no method, no testing, nothing. You go X number of times, which is tracked on your card, and you get a stripe on your belt (which is electrical tape, but anyway), and when you have 3 pieces of tape on your belt, you are included in the next belt ceremony (which will cost you $60, by the way, for the belt).\r

Classes are $264/month for two kids, each summer uniform (not allowed to wear it in winter!) is $60, each winter uniform (which you must have since the summer uniform is restricted to certain months) will set you back $100. So, let's do some simple math:\r
\r
Tuition for 6 months: $264 x 6 $= $1584\r
Winter Uniform for two kids: $100 x 2 = $200\r
Summer Uniform for two kids: $60 X 2 = $120\r
Orange Belt for one kid: $60\r
\r
Total: $1964\r

If you attended twice a week for 6 months, that would be $37 per session. Sessions are half an hour, so basically this experience is costing $74/hour. If someone said to you, I can teach your your child taekwondo and it will cost you $74 an hour, I doubt anyone would say yes to that. But that's what is happening. \r

Look up the term McDojo and you'll see what I mean. \r
