My husband started taking classes at Vision in 2007. He started with the martial combat class, then started the tae kwan do class. I started taking classes almost 18 months ago and have had no problems with this academy. I have some physical limitations set by my doctor and the instructors are glad to work with this.
Graduations are based on the number of classes you have taken (you must attend at least 20 classes to be eligible) and your ability to do the work. If you can't do the form, one step, or board break that is required you do not graduate, but can try again at a later time. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ill-informed. I have seen students, even favored black belts, not graduate because they didn't do the work right. Graduation is also done on an individual basis.
Signing up does include a contract, however I have never had my issues with my instructors in this area. When it looked like I needed to stop attending due to an injury, they worked with me.
I've watched the kids' classes and adult classes. The format is very different between the two. Each is tailored to the needs of the age-group attending. I would not recommend classes for children under 5 as even the childrens' classes tend to go to fast for them.
Overall, I highly recommend this martial arts academy.
