A Fun Eye Exam??!! 6/19/2006

I have four kids from age 5 to 19 and I have never had so much fun at any doctor's office! Dr. Shelby (Wickhorst) was so easy to talk to I felt like I had been at his clinic for years. His office is very non-traditional--it looks more like a gallery with cool metal and glass shelving that he and his dad built. I think he has the hippest frames in Vancouver too! I can't say enough about the outstanding time I had at his clinic. I felt really good about the glasses we got and the warranty's. I can't believe I learned so much in my visit--I am definitely going to tell my friends and family they HAVE to go to Vision 162! more

A great experience at the eye doctor's office! 1/21/2006

I really enjoyed visiting Vision 162! Dr. Wickhorst and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They made a trip to the eye doctor fun!! They have a great selection of frames, and were very helpful in picking out which ones were right for me. I'm so happy with my new glasses and my trial contact lenses, and I feel like I can call back anytime I have any questions. They offer a great guarantee on the lenses in my new glasses too! Check out Vision 162!! It doesn't take long at all to get there from Portland. more

He received a quality education from the Northwest's most accredited Universities in optometry, Pacific University. Besides providing his patients with the highest quality of optometric care he is dedicated to creating a clinical environment that is fun and forward thinking. Dr. Shelby only uses the latest technology to care for his patients. He believes in providing high quality fashion frames with the latest lenses and lens-coating technology available.

    This fine sir is also an adjunct professor at Portland Community College.
