Me and the girlfriend decided to check out this new spot on valentine's day somewhat skeptically considering the past endeavors at this location. We ended up having to eat at the bar considering the restaurant was filled due to valentines reservation. But once we got settled in we were pleasantly surprised. Both bartenders were very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. The food was excellent and contrary to the previous post the drink prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this spot for a romantic evening out with a loved one. more

If you are looking for a great place to eat then you should try this. My husband had the short ribs while I had the scallops and both were delicious, I highly recommend their ""gourmet"" french fries, the dipping sauce was incredible. Food prices are about average in this area of Portland and you get your money's worth here. The desserts are so rich and delicious too. After dinner we visited the bar and it was happy hour at that time and the drink prices are very reasonable. Huge televison on one wall with 2 other t.v's as well. Football season was already over by this time that we went but next season I know where we will be watching games from! Parking is a little challenging in this area especially on weekends but well worth the walk. I would have liked to see a domestic beer on tap rather than what they offer but other than that everything else was superb! My husband thought this would be great... I'm Pisces, he's Virgo...perfect for Valentine's Day. We had to be in Portland on business. We finished early. Our reservations were for 8PM...it was 4:30. We thought we'd go for happy hour and have some small bites. Two drinks...ok, they were doubles came to $36. We could get nothing to eat because the kitchen was too busy to cook anything except for dinners...which wouldn't start until 6. We tried to ""exchange"" our reservations to an earlier time but no go. We had to pay in cash or check as the credit machine was only set up to handle Valentine's dinner....WHAT???????? Bartender was great the rest of the staff.....ugh. more
