DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! \r BEWARE YOUR NEW WINDOWS WILL MOST LIKELY LEAK, LIKE MINE DID! \r \r Unfortunately the windows they installed for me leaked. Three of the windows required New Construction windows but they installed Retrofit windows instead. Now these three windows leak quite a bit on the inside of my window casings, down my walls, and onto my floors in my home. On these specific three windows, Vinyl Designs on 01/05/2013, had removed my old aluminum window frames, cut the flange, and broke the water seal. Vinyl Designs made a second attempt to reinstate the broke water seal on 3/14/2013 with an Aluminum Trim Coil, but their inadequate correction they conducted on my exterior stucco residence failed. \r \r The other true Vinyl Retrofit windows that did overlap the old Aluminum window frames did leak do varying degrees. I am not sure what happened with these, but I do know that these windows never leaked before Vinyl Designs commenced their window installation on my residence.\r \r Vinyl Designs response to my notification to them that my windows leaked, was that they did not believe me, and that they are referring my non payment of their contract to their legal counsel and to their outside collections. The Permit obtained through the Sacramento County Permit Department remains open due to the leaking windows. Vinyl Designs has ceased all communications with me.\r \r Vinyl Designs Cuts Corners During their Window Installations which Imposes Extreme Expense to their Customers, Soon After their Install. Weigh out Paying $7000 for their Window Installation in Comparison to Hundreds of Thousands You'll Pay when you have to Deal With the soon to follow Damages to your Property like Dry Rot, Mold, and Termites! Oh and I almost forgot, don't forget how much you will have to pay the Attorney's to either fight Vinyl Designs or to defend yourself against Vinyl Designs pursuit of you if you don't pay them. And most importantly, don't forget how the Damages to your Property might affect your own Health or your Families Health and the Expense Related to Keeping Your Family Healthy. Vinyl Designs seems to Lack any redeeming work ethic or conscious. \r \r Vinyl Designs Only Cares About Their Financial Bottom Line! It Does Appear that Not even Certified Mailed Notification Of Pending Actions Against Them, that You Fully Intend to Pursue, Will Force Vinyl Designs to Do The Right Thing! \r \r Vinyl Designs Does Lie to their Customers and to the Sacramento County Permit Department. Vinyl Designs Does Not Care About the Customer Service they Provide. They are Extremely Rude and Disrespectful To Their Customers. \r \r As a previous Vinyl Designs Customer, I have Nothing even remotely good or positive to say, from beginning to end. The word Slime comes to mind to describe this company. There are Not enough showers in this universe to wash the slime off! In general, my experience with this company and the way they handled themselves, makes me want to throw up all over them. more

An employee of this company by the name of Joshua that works in there telemarketing department crashed into my car while under the influence of alcohol on the bay bridge. He admitted fault to me and ask me not to call the police because he was celebrating his wife or girlfriends anniversary with the smell of wine on this guys breath i offered him some gum and told him i was not looking to get him in trouble and that i just wanted my car fixed. He said that he would and that he was glad he just paid his insurance. Because of his honesty when asked if he had been drinking i figured him a stad up person,not only that but it was dark and we weren't in a very safe place pulled over on the side on the freeway. Because of my mistake  having some faith in humanity of this person it will cost me.I soon came to the realization of what kind of person he really is. When his insurance company finally got a hold of him 2 days later he conveniently changed his story that we ran in to each other so the blame was both of our. A blatant LIE! Apparently this waste of skin has no conscious. No good deed is unpunished, I tried to be a good guy about the situation and this is how I'm relayed .So after all of the nonsense with insurance company I now have to pay $1000 dollars out of pocket of MY money because of this weasel. I looked up his name on the internet and saw his picture working for this company vinyl designs I decided to call him to see if he had the balls to lie to me directly after I did what I did for him. A secretary picks up the phone and I ask for him directly, she tells me to hold and asks who is calling I tell her my name and do not say anything about why I am calling except that is urgent. She put me through to voice mail. I then call back and speak with a manager by the name of derrik he tells me to hold then gets back on the phone and tells me he is unavailable. I'm then transfered back to the secretary whom I ask when a good time to call is so that I'm able to speak with him. She tells me his break is at 5pm and I would be able to get in touch with him then.  I call back at 5:00 to get a message that there office closes at 4:30.. WOW! Ether this guy is a professional con artist or these people were covering for him I don't he's that smart. So here are some word for you little man. I can't imagine what a crappy life you must live to act in a manner that you do. You are a disgusting person and I'm happy to say I only run into people like you on a rare occasion.  I then called and asked to talk to the owner Leslie and she responded, I quote"" I do not care what my employees do in there private lives as long as they preform %100 at work""Directly from the Owner! Would you like people like this in your home? more

This company is a VERY aggressive and annoying telemarketer. They call almost daily even though I have told them that I am absolutely not interested for a very good reason - I am a renter. If I were in the market for new windows however, I would eliminate this company outright. Any company that has to telemarket this aggressively must not be able to stand on its own merit for quality service. more

Mr. Stephen McDonald Kuhlke, RMO 5433 Stationers Way Sacramento, CA 95842 Dear Mr. Kuhlke, Last May 2010, we had negotiated through Mr. Andre Lamar, for the installation of your windows for our apartment building. I am very pleased with the windows as are all our tenants. The double pane windows are of excellent quality and do keep the inclement weather temperature outside. They are easy to take care of and look really nice. After the installation, I received more calls from prospective tenants who wanted to rent from us than before (the installation). I believe the principle reason for this is because of the newer attractive windows. I also just wanted to express my appreciation for the courtesy, and professionalism of Mr. Lamar. He is an excellent representative of your company. He kept both of his schedule appointments on time at our apartment house and at my home. He was easy to talk with, and expressed him self well. He had a thorough knowledge of your product line and convinced me that you product line was superior. I am grateful to him for introducing me to your company and your fine product lines. At or about the time for the installation, your company accommodated us by expediting the installation because we were scheduled to be out of the country. I wasn?t sure if you could, but your customer-oriented service was great. There was a short span of time to get 40 customized size windows installed, and the work was done timely ? within three or four days. And this was accomplished even with some of the apartment tenants being at home. The two eastern European gentlemen who installed the windows were excellent. They worked expeditiously and were neat and tidy. No extra work was required for cleanup after they were done. The shrubbery was not damaged. They worked cooperatively with me and the tenants. They worked around any furnishing which may have been in the way or moved out of the way. Nothing was damaged. They did a superb job. The tenants and I are very happy with their work. I don?t think they could have done a better job. I congratulate you for your excellent staff. If anyone asks about new windows, I would not hesitate to recommend your company and products to him/her. I recently purchased a new entry door from Vinyl Designs. It took a long time to get here, but totally worth the wait. The door totally changed the exterior look of my home, and I have been getting so many compliments on it. It is great quality and even energy efficient. We decided to replace our fiber cement with the new vinyl siding-wall system-and I have to say it was the best decision! Our energy bills have gone down and the outside noise has been reduced greatly, that was something we were not expecting but was a nice bonus. Three or four months ago my wife talked me into getting some new windows for our home and finally I caved in. We made the appointment and their Area Manager Andre Lamar came out personally and he gave us an outstanding power point presentation about the company and also about energy savings with the our proposed new windows. He answered all our questions and gave us a great deal including the $ 1500 tax credit, which we just got back. The installation also went without a hitch. The installation crew did a superb job even cleaning up all the mess that was generated. Clean fast and reasonable. What else could we ask for. Thanks for the job well done. I have have Vinyl Designs install new Preservation insulated siding on my home and I could not be happier. My home looks great, it is quieter, and our fuel bills are much lower than before. The best part is it will always look this good. The new patio cover made our back yard look great and we can actually use it in the summer without getting roasted by the sun. The owner of VD calls himself an EXPERT...I'll let you determine that... Mr. Lane, the customer, Green Earl, the caller ""Sir, I understand that so and so owner, was by to show you his windows."" The customer, ""Why, yes he was... Green Earl, ""Did he promise you up to 40% savings on your heating and cooling bill, after you added his windows?"" Customer, ""Yes he did"" Green Earl, ""And after he checked your attic for insulation, did he still feel you would enjoy that same percentage of savings.?""
