Get my dog a day of fun out of the sun! 10/10/2011

On a personal note, the people I trust with my pooch are few and far between. I have cancelled vacations because of the lack of a trustworthy sitter and I will hardly even leave him with family while I go to dinner without a diaper bag full of toys and a notebook full of instructions. So it speaks volumes, that one occasion, I will pay the rates at Frolic Inn to get my dog a day of fun out of the sun with pups of similar size! more

Part of the family! 10/7/2011

This place has been part of our family in caring for our pets for many years! We were first referred to The them in the early 90's when our dog was just a pup and vacations with our kids were very important to us as a family. All of our experiences here were great, but most importantly our dog was always safe and happy. Through the years, our family pets grew , and we knew that they would too be safe and loved. more

My dog loves it! 10/5/2011

My dog has been coming to Folic Inn a few times a week since she was a little puppy and her reaction to coming each day tells you everything you need to know. About a mile out, she starts whining and crying and her tail just about knocks the car door open it is wagging so hard! Then, when we pull in she takes off like a bullet into the front door, barking and wagging. When she sees the employees she gets about as excited to see them as she does to see her own family! She obviously loves going there and best of all when she comes home after a long day of playing with her friends she is nice and relaxed and more cuddly than usual after a day of fun! more

Has Such A Great Time 10/3/2011

My dog has been going to the daycare here for several years now. We have also boarded her several times at the Frolic Inn. She has such a great time when she's there that she starts barking and whining when we turn the corner on the way there. When we arrive, she tears into the place almost knocking the door down on the way in. more

Great Value 9/30/2011

The people who work at the Frolic Inn are the best. When I bring my dog, I know that she will be well taken care of and given plenty of love! I'm always sad when I have to leave her for a few days, but she never is. The minute we pull up to the Frolic Inn, she gets so excited, and she runs in when we get there. Doesn't even give me a backwards glance. This is a great resource to have - very conveniently located. Great value for your money. more

Dog Day Of Play 9/29/2011

We have been taking our dog here for about 2.5 years whenever we go out of town. Our dog loves to go here and will start barking like crazy as soon as he realizes where we are headed. He is always very tired from a full day of play when I pick him up. more

The best thing about this place is the staff. You can tell they are all dog lovers in the way that they treat my dog. At Frolic Inn, it's all included in the price. The important thing is that my dog loves it. So, if she is well cared for them I am happy. more

Great Employees 9/7/2011

A pal of mine works at the Frolic Inn part time, and she loves her job. For someone whose job is to be slobbed on, clean up dog doody, be knocked over by hairy ragamuffins, sweep up hair, and occasionally get bitten, job satisfaction is generally temporary- but she's been working there for some time and enjoys it. more

Muffin loved it! 9/6/2011

We just picked up our dog Muffin (year old German Shepard mix) from his first weekend boarding experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful... especially when our flight was delayed and he had to stay one more night unexpectedly. Frolic Inn came highly recommended to me by a coworker I am so glad we've found a trustworthy place. more

Happy Dogs 9/1/2011

These people are complete pros, and care for our dogs like their own. We've boarded them here several times and the dogs always come home happy, healthy and tired from all the playtime, and yes a little smelly from dog sweat. They just got home last night and have spent the entire time napping. more

Give them a try 8/30/2011

I have used the Frolic Inn services for around 5 years now. The staff is amazing. They have dealt with three dogs over the years from our household. One of them is a little pistol and has some behavioral problems with other dogs. They are so willing to work with you schedule, AND they are so flexible it's spectacular. I am in sales and my schedule constantly changes. If I leave them a message they get back to me right away, and I have never been told that they are unable to handle my dog's needs that day. Give them a try, you will not regret it! more

Frolic Inn never ceases to amaze me! They've consistently been there when Maggie needs her day of beauty (aka teeth cleaning & nail trimming). Once a month Maggie goes early in the morning (thank goodness for their early drop-off!) and is picked up when either my hubby and I come home from work (sometimes after-hours pick up too!). more

I was very pleased with Frolic Inn, they are so friendly and caring. I have two Shepard huskies that they worked wonders on. One of my dogs can be a handful but they were very professional about it. They gave me helpful tips on how to care for their coats at home and they called after to make sure I was happy with her grooming and the they were okay. I am very happy with this business and will return. thanks. more

No better place to leave your animals!! 11/15/2010

I have been taking my dog to Vinroc for 2 years now and I have never been happier leaving him. It is as if he is with family when there. He is always happy and healthy when I pick him up and receives good pampering from everyone there. The owners and staff are professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and top-notch. They have a great area to exercise the dogs and are carefully aware of a dog's temperament when selecting playmates or neighbors. They have been terrific about giving him meds if he's on any and are just plain wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place and enthusiastically recommend it to all! more

LOVE MY DOGS! 11/16/2009

\r My two best friends Harry and Miles have been boarding at Vinroc Kennels on and off for almost two years now. I travel quite a bit and was so happy to find this very clean, up-beat, loving haven for my buddies while I'm away. I know they are well taken care of and have a good time while there. They jump out of my car and race to Vinrock's front door with hardly a good-by to me. Happy Thanksgiving to all the staff for their wonderful care of my boys. Pros: EXCELLENT HOME AWAY FROM HOME more

What a dog kennel should be 11/16/2009

My two dogs have been going to Vinroc kennel for two years. I would never bring them anywhere else, and I have been to just about every other place around. My guys overnight there at least six times a year and go to daycare frequently. When I found this place I felt like my dogs had finally found what they needed. The people are extremely warm and knowledgeable about dogs’ behavior. Each dog has there own inside and outside area to sleep. In addition, they hike the dogs two time a day through there private trails on the property. There daycare is not really a play yard, it is more like a dog park. My dogs pull me through the door to get in. When I had picked my kids up at other kennels in the past they always seem so depressed. At Vinroc I have a hard time getting them to go home. I can not say enough good things about this place. I have been there as early as seven in the morning and as late as nine to drop off my dogs. I can tell you I have never seen anything but happy well exercised dogs and employees that love what they are doing. For these people this place is not just a job, but a way of life. Pros: My dog loves it. more

Cant Wait for Our Next Visit 11/16/2009

This place is fabulous! They have a great doggie day care service that I used when I had an all day meeting in Springfield.\r \r When I picked up my dog I was actually greeted by the owner who told me the whole history of the kennel and its family roots.\r \r And the best part was that my dog had more space to run and play in the dog park behind the kennel than she has at our house. She was WORN OUT by the time I picked her up. She loved it!\r \r A++++ Pros: Personal Attention - True Animal Lovers Cons: None to speak of more

Above All Expectations 4/15/2009

I cannot say enough great things about Vinroc Kennels. First time I took my dog there, she'd just been through a major surgery and needed a lot of special care - they were very comfortable caring for her, and happily took her to my vet when they realized one of her staples was loose (I would never have even thought of asking!). They are 45 minutes away from where I live, but it is completely worth it to me. They LOVE every dog that walks through the door and it shows - my dog goes crazy every time we pull in the driveway - wagging her tail, jumping up at the window, and can't wait to get inside. They give her lots of exercise, and are incredibly attentive and responsible. It's family-owned, and every employee and volunteer is there because they love animals - they are just the most wonderful people. Pros: Responsible, truly love animals, go above and beyond more
