What a disappoiontment 2/11/2011

The food was grossly overpriced. Entrees tasted like everything had been frozen and thawed before serving . Sauces were improperly seasoned, the pasta was bland and the sauces broken. Oh, and as to the view mentioned in another review. There is none. Go elsewhere where you can get an acceptable meal for your hard earned $$$ more

Even though they lost much of their view I reccomend Vinny's as a great restaurat. $100 food at $20 prices. more

Great view of Friday Harbor 4/3/2006

Vinny's is one of our favorite restaurants on San Juan Island. While their food is only pretty good, the ambiance and view make up for what the food lacks. Try for a window seat as the restaurant overlooks Friday Harbor and is great place to spend the evening eating, drinking and watching the ferries go in and out of the harbor. The menu consists of a variety of Italian dishes and steaks. The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant has the seating and noise level to also make it good for groups. more
