Worst

Overpriced for what it is. Just another pizza

Overpriced..... even if it was good 4/1/2010

The food is extremely overpriced and I am not that impressed with what you get. We have got calzones there in the past which seem to be soggy. However, the last time we went, we picked up shortly before they closed and when we got home we were blown away to find it was EXTREMELY burnt. This goes to show their lack of customer service to send us home with that! We're done going there! GARLIC JIMS IS AMAZING AND IS THE ONLY PIZZA COMPANY THAT DELIVERS TO RIDGEFIELD! (no I do not work for them, just love them!) They truly have THE best crust I have ever had! more

Best local pizza! 10/26/2007

The buzz on this place was too much to take so we finally tried it last night. Fantastic pizza! Authentic, Sicilian style, thin crust, garlicky pizza. Great place for families. We watched the Sox, played cards with the kids and ate amazing food. We are loyal Blind Onion fans, but this place topped the charts. Great wine/beer selection too. We went on a weeknight. I think weekends are super busy. Great takeout, too. Pros: excellent food, laidback atmosphere, FAST service Cons: small restaurant, probably gets pretty crowded at peak dinner times more

Pretty good pizza, Lousy atmosphere 9/28/2007

Looked at the online menu, and made my order. Pizza was done on time, and was pretty good. However, the online pricing was not accurate. In addition, I didn't find the staff particularly friendly. That, combined with the borderline tacky atmosphere, is enough to make me not go back. Pros: Pizza was good (not great) Cons: Atmosphere, staff, price more

I dream of Vinnies 6/25/2007

ahhhhhhh Vinnies, there is no other pizza more heavenly than this! Often thought of writing an ode to Vinnies pizza! No really folks! This is oh so good food! And really reasonably priced! The folks that run the place are really friendly and efficient! It's not a fancy place, but it is fun! It gets crazy busy on weekend nights so go early! Pros: food is amazing, staff is wonderful Cons: none really more

AMAZING crust!! The best pizza around 7/14/2006

Wow, what a gem, in the most unlikely of places! Ridgefield has a winner in Vinnie's Pizza. Authentic Italian cuisine by authentic italians. Great prices, and nice people. The only part that could be improved is the atmosphere, it's nothing special. They offer a wide variety of beers and wines, and great deserts. It's worth the drive, only about 15 miles north of Portland. Give it a try. You'll love downtown Mayberry, I mean Ridgefield. Pros: food, drinks, service Cons: ambience more

Authentic Italian in Ridgefield 5/19/2006

Vinnies is owned and operated by a charming Italian family. The food is authentic, and superior to what you would expect to find in a small town pizza joint. Pizzas are delicious and original, salads are fresh (no ice burg here), micro brews on tap and genuine Chianti. Desserts are worth saving room for. My favorite is the cannoli which is filled with a luscious cheese they order from NYC. All the tables are slab marble or granite from the owners stone store next door. Very Friendly/Great Value 2/13/2006

Vinnies is one of those satisfying, reliably good small town restaurants. Nothing fancy(no 1st date, trying to make an impression) sort of places. The stombolli , sandwiches and pizzas are made with fresh dough and homemade sauces. The service is very friendly in a great small town way. The dollar value will feed anyone on a tight food budget.
