Being a huge fan of all things Italian, I looked forward to dining at this restuarant not to mention they had an adjacent ""Skybar"" patio wine loft, what more can you ask for on a Texas fall night out with friends! Well, to my disappointment, there was much to be asked for, almost to the point of asking for our money back!!!\r
\r
First off, we had reservations for a party of 15 and notified them that we were celebrating a birthday, upon arrival they informed us that the reservations where made for the night prior and we were a ""no show"". Obviously, someone dropped the ball on that end, since no one even called to confirm the reservations or called to see why we supposedly ""no showed"". I mean come on if you were celebrating an occasion and having 15 friends to dinner I believe you would have the correct date down!\r
\r
After, table arrangements were corrected we were seated in their semi private dining room. Nicely, lite and decorated a good room to host parties. We were one of two parties in the room that night. Maybe, they can use that as an excuse as to why service was so horrible that night. \r
\r
One friend found a beer bottle cap in his water glass right after seating!! The waitress informed us they were short on menus and we had to share, which we overlooked and didn't mind. The menu was a nicely done photo album true to the art theme of the resturant, so far the only truth of the place. \r
It was all downhill for the rest of the night, we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for drink orders, the waiter spilled the beer and broke a glass of ice tea all over two of my friends. To his defense he did give us complementary appitizers as an apology small portions as it was. You would think after all that fiasco it wouldn't get any worse but it did! When it came time for bread the waitress again approached us and told us that they were short on bread baskets and so among a table of 15 people we shared one small bread basket. I'm not one that doesn't like to share but when you are paying $17.00 for an entree that doesn't include sides or salad, I would like to have more then one bread basket on my table of 15. Since, my side of griled veggies that was completmentary to my entree as part of their current special, I counted one small carrot, two button mushrooms and couple pieces of squash and zucchini.\r
\r
Main course, the make it or break it meal. Well let's just say my Tuscany dreams were shattered. I think Olive Garden got Tuscany down over this place!! \r
Adding fuel to the fire, the desserts took over 30 minutes to come out, only 3 people ordered deserts, one of which was the birthday day girl. Now you would think since they where informed that we were there celebrating her birthday and that it took 30 minutes to make her deflated, dry chocolate souffle, they might have maybe put a 25 cent candle on it to make festive but no they didn't. I've seen nicer happy birthday well wishes tableside at Chili's. \r
If we weren't done with this place by now, we were definately ready to leave after it took them at least an hour to get everyone's bill straight. What a nightmare that was!!\r
\r
I can go on and on about all the other details that this place did not deliver on. Yes, I'm a food snob but I expect good service and good food for my good money. Is that too much to ask for?\r

Pros: Nice decor/atmosphere
Cons: too many to list see details
