Vince's Automotive

I am not in the business of writing bad things about any one or any thing. I did however look for reviews before I actually had my car towed into Vince's Automotive, and all the reviews I read were surprisingly Good! Not sure if they are for-real. I could do two things, I can write a bunch of bull or I can write the truth.... Put it like this ... too many excuses were giving by Vince. I will probably never go back. I must say Vince has a worker by the name of Edward. This guy gives GREAT customer service. too bad its not his shop.... more

OMG Vince is the best mechanic I've been to! He found the problem with my car that 3 other shops have not been able to detect. Vince's expertise and professionalism speak for themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. He is awesome! Thank you.... more

Vince greeted me at the entrance, and thoroughly explained what they were going to do. I had a number of issues and he took care of everything, and so quickly, including replacing parts. I highly recommend this company, I'm telling my whole family, I have definitely found my new automotive repair place! more

honesty and integrity is hard in an auto repair shop. Well look no further. The people at Vince's are honest and up front. They are very friendly . The prices are fair and the cleanliness of the shop rivals the nearby businesses. more

Vince is like family. I drive from Calabasas to have my car serviced, that is because I only trust Vince with my car. He and his team are simply the best. more

I was referred to this shop by a co-worker. So I take my car to get a simple oil change. After I picked my car, I discovered that they didn't put back the oil pan cover. I asked them about this and they said they would replaced it. I called them again and again, and all I got were excuses. Vince is not an shop owner who has any business ethics. Stay far away from this place. more

BASIC TUNE UP for a CADILLAC ESCALADE consist of a change oil ,, fluid transmmision oil flush ,spark plugs changes,.. THAT'S IT.... they charge me $600 while other privately owned shop only charge $150-200...even .the Cadillac Dealer will only charge this service..$250-300.!!. They said they found a broken engine mount that is needed to be change... part replacement for this one is only $150.... they charge me TOTAL of $650...meaning LABOR COST is a whooping $450 bucks compare to other shop that will only charge a customer $100-150 for labor. OVERALL TOTAL BILL THAT was presented to me....$1300 !!!!, compare other shop that will only cost me $450-500. or even THE CADILLAC dealer will only charge half of what they charge me...Meaning to say I WAS RIPPED-OFF and OVERCHARGED TREMENDOUSLY BY THIS SHOP... more than DOUBLE the REGULAR COST of SERVICE.done to my vehicle . And check this out...when I question the details and breakdowns of the TOTAL CHARGES..VINCE GOT UPSET!!!t...he created some made up numbers to come up with this ridiculous total charge of $1300....Then HE SAID that his LABOR RATE (becomes) $90 per hour instead of the normal rate that is $40 only. plus he added. more hours from the normal standard number of hours from the book for this specific job. CONCLUSION: In the end, he realized that theamount he charged me was so obviously high and unfair for consumer in which then he reduce the TOTAL BILL to $1000 on which still is VERY HIGH and OVERPRICE. This shows he is ripping off and taking advantage especially to NEW CUSTOMERS. WARNING...DON""T EVER GO TO THIS SHOP....POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO WAITING AREA FOR CUSTOMERS...VERY CROWDED,.DIRTY..,,DISORGANIZED AREA AND NOT PROMPT ON RELEASING THE VEHICLE AS WHAT THEY HAVE PROMISED.. more

Read about Vince's in Hot Rod Mag then again in CarCraft. Dude knows his stuff. I do much of my own work but when the tough stuff happens (more now then in the older cars) I zip over to Vince's. Great technician. And I know one when I talk with one. more
