When I first sarted college, I wen to Vincennes University. Although the name is "University", VU is 2 year-college. I don't think they have 4 year programs for Bacholer's degrees. Since the school is small, it's easy to get know people. I feel VU is a good starter school for especially students who didn't quite good while they were at high schools.
I graduated from high school in Japan, and my English was not very good. As a result, I didn't have many options for choosing college in US. VU has good ESL (English as Second Language) classes. I don't know why but there were many Japanese students when I was there. We did some cultural events. It was very fun.
