Village Tandoor

I'm a big fan of Indian Food. I love the spices and the choices. The flavor of the food at the Village Tandoor is right on the mark. It's the kind of taste that you just can't get enough of. You want to eat until you can't move. Any time it's time to go out for dinner, I always want to go here. We sit, we're served immediately, we get our King Fisher and some Lamb Tikka and Naan and we're in heaven. It is my favorite Indian restaurant. I recommend it to everyone I know! more

I love this place.... especially during the lunch buffet hours. I always come here during lunch and the buffet has everything I love! It's definatly worth it.... just under $10 for lunch gets you so much more than what you'd spend during dinner hours. The food is delicious, the fruit drinks are good, the service is great, very clean, and the athmosphere is nice. I would eat here everyday if I had the money! High recommend! We had two people at our table with somewhat special diets, me, being vegan, and another with allergies to some spices. they had many vegan items on the menu, which was nice. Worst indian food! The management too harsh. Not worth the money, would go elsewhere. Being an Indian I know how the dishes should taste. only good for those who do not know the real taste of indian food, they just fool everyone and provide bad tasteless food to customers................. more

Like it hot? Ask them to hurt you with the vindaloo! We ask for shrimp vindaloo very spicy. It'll creep up on you...so nicely too! Garlic nan is one of the best I've ever tried. YOU MUST ORDER THE VEGETABLE SAMOSAS! Their lunch buffet is a good value and there are many choices! Their onion bahji is the best! Mushroom bahji is super! Plus they constantly play very entertaining Indian music videos with lots of choreographed dancing. It's fun and silly at times. The waiters are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place! The food is prepared excellent. I have tried many indian restaurants in the Los Angeles area and I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. Their dishes are prepared with just the right amount of spices and blends. The chef's definitely know what there doing here when they make this food. The prices are reasonable and the delicious weekend buffet is most certainly a good choice to keep you full. The service is great also. When you see other Indian countrymen eating at the restaurant, then you know it's gotta be good. more
