Village Pre-School

Our experience was terrible and pulled him less then a month. First a pizza party, which I told the teacher that my son doesn't eat pizza and I would pack his lunch. She told me that she would have to ask permission to feed him his lunch. A little shocked, I asked why. She stated that the other kids may want what my son has. I wanted to point out that they all have different lunches everyday, but I didn't. They actually called the director over this? Next, was my sons birthday, which landed on the day he was at school. I asked a few days prior what I could do for his class that day. His teacher said they were planning to celebrate another boys birthday that day. Once again she said she had to ask the director. The answer was that they were not going to celebrate my sons birthday till the following week. When I questioned this decision, I was told to talk to the director. They had no concern for my sons emotional well being, intending for him to watch them celebrate another boys birthda more

Please clean up your school and play areas to make it safe for the children! When visiting this school it was clear that money is not put into fixing it up on the outside or the inside. Children need to know how to take care of things and to clean up and be organized. WHO is running this school !!! It seems the money is going in their pockets not back into the school where it belongs. Too bad the previous owner passed away. more

I love this school for so many reasons! First, both of my daughters (now 29 & 25 years old!) attended this for 2 years prior to Kindergarten. I feel their success in school was a direct result of their experience at Village! Then a few years later, while working on my Teacher Credential .... I worked at the school as a Teacher. What I learned there (on the job!) about child development and learning, was more practical than anything I read in a book in college. I've been teaching elementary school for 11 years now .... and all I can say is Village Preschool, under the direction of Fahi Vazirian, GETS IT! She knows how to develop a child emotionally, socially, physically ..... and intellectually. They are the BEST! more

"" I just want to say that if you're looking for a FANTASTIC place for your child, look no further. Village Preschool has helped to potty train three of my children and also helped to encourage my picky eaters to try new foods. AMAZING!!! I love the science program, the monitored sand play area which all the kids love, the art programs, the live animals, the huge playing area in the back, the caring and very loving staff that loves to read books, books and more books to all of the children. VILLAGE PRESCHOOL ROCKS!!! Thanks for the peace of mind too!!! And wait there's more...THEY HATCH CHICKS AND BUTTERFLYS AND GROW PLANTS FROM SEEDS AND HAVE ART SHOWS AND PERFORMING!!! And for the summer program, the children pack their bags and pretend to take a trip ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! If you are looking for a place for your little one, look no further. I LOVE IT!!! My child whose 4 years old started Village in the fall and she absolutely loves it. Their science program is amazing that no other school that I know offers. She has learned so much and the staff are so loving and have helped my child with developing her socially as well providing her with the necessary skills to start kindergarten next fall. \r They also have a large, wonderful playground that is behind the school which makes it very safe and also have live animals for the children. more

Village has been a wonderful experience for my son as well as myself. All the teachers at the school are incredible nurturing and respectful. The children are well cared for and I love all the sensory and manipulative learning that takes place every day. Each day there is a great structured learning lesson and each child has a great opportunity to learn and self-explore. The playground is among the biggest I have seen and I love the small classroom size. Each child is treated as a student and I appreciate the experiences that we have had at Village. My son was not ready to have a curriculum based approach at the age of 2, but he has learned so many great skills that Village has to offer. Play is so important to a toddler and no one has the opportunities to play and explore like Village. I definitely recommend this school to anyone and everyone. This school does not offer a lunch program, so your child must bring his/her own lunch. My child has come home filthy dirty every single day, and has began using foul language that he did not use before starting school there. The teachers never greet me when I enter or leave with my child. This school also does not send home sheets that show what the children did/learned that day, when they napped, and how they ate, like all the other daycares do! All this, and they still charge just as much as all the other daycares in the area! I would NOT reccommend this preschool/daycare to anyone! more
