These apartments were built in the early 1970's and are owned by William Morris. Mr. Morris did very little to invest money in these to make them a nicer and more desireable place to live. Repairs are very slow in getting done. A friend of mine (She used to live in unit #137) lived there for 6 years and, during those 6 years, her ceiling in her bedroom caved in three times. Maintenance was very slow in getting the repairs done. When her closet became full of mildew, the manager (Fran) told the tenant to clean it up herself. The tenant was not physically capable of cleaning it herself. I lived in apartment #192 during the 6 years I lived there. While I lived there, I had very few problems as far as repairs go, other than the places are full of fleas and other insects and the manager would do little about it. When I moved in in 1999, the manager (Fran) said the carpets were cleaned, however, whenever I would walk on the carpet with bare feet, my feet would get dirty. I ended up paying someone to come out and clean my carpet and, when they did, the problem with dirty feet was gone. While I lived there, my apartment was burglarized, my van was both burglarized and stolen. The manager (Fran) would rent to anyone; good or bad. I understand Fran is no longer the manager; I understand this apartment complex is under new management and, therefore, might be a nicer and more desireable place to live. I would recommend talking with other residents living in those apartments before renting from there. The rent is too high on these apartments for what you get.
