Village Inn of Destin

our overall experience was great with th hotel. anything we needed the staff were there to help. the hotel's location was good. we wasn't very far from all the different things the city had to offer. more

The Village Inn Hotel in Destin was conveniently located close to the beaches. Stayed 1 night on our way to Orlando. Rooms were clean, a/c worked well, pool well maintained. There were six in our party, no one complained. more

Hotel was perfect for our needs. We went on deep sea fishing trip and hotel was walk distance from the dock. We could walk to great restaurants right across the street, fun activites like jet ski rentals and parasailing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was great. more

Village Inn was a great find for us. We rode in looking for a nice clean motel room in a good central location for a good rate. Village Inn exceeded all of our expectations. Kudos to an extremely friendly staff. Thanks again! more

We didn't book ahead of time because of the terrible reviews here, but we had to check it out because of the price and location. We got there on a sunday and had no problem getting a non-smoking room at the last minute. We pad less than $140 for two nights in May--when the weather is perfect! The room was clean, though the carpets could use a shampooing. We had two small kids with us and felt comfortable. Beds were fresh, bathroom was clean (even had a heat lamp!), and the pool was perfect. I don't understand what these other people are complaining about. It's a budget motel, and was on par with our expectations. My only complaint is the beach is a good fifteen minute drive away. But there are great restaurants and activities within walking distance. I recommend this hotel- it works perfectly as a place to rest after a day of family fun. We felt safe and clean. more
