I thought I had gotten a great deal at the Village Green Motel, but I wished now, that I had paid more money for a better motel. \r

This establishment reaked of foul odors. 1st, when I registered, I could not help but be bowled over by the malodorous scent of dog urine upon the office. I can only come to the conclusion that those two great danes the proprietor doted on have urinated everywhere they can. The scent wafted through her living quarters into the office. I was thoroughly disgusted.\r

Next, the room I was assigned stunk of a second- hand store or perhaps it was the scent of an old folks home, it was intolerable, and the place was hardly clean. There was sand on the floor and the whole time they never used a vaacuum, (I stayed a week, to my dismay!) so I can conclude that is the reason there was frizzy grey hair all over the floor, because it was not my hair. It was truly gross. \r

Thirdly, my bed did not have a fittd sheet, only a mattress cover, blanket and flat sheet. I cursed myself for not bringing sheets, I had brought a pillow case. I asked three times for another sheet but never recieved one. I had to go to the urine stinking garage to pilfer one.\r

They had a pool, unfortunately when I decided that a swim was in order I happned to see a dead rodent floating in there. It could get no worse, I was happy to got home, and I am sad to say that I don't think I will ever return to Maine
