This lot was kind of off the beaten path from my neck of the woods, but it was most definitely worth the trip. I had been conducting an online search and they were the only ones that had the actual carfax already online ready to view. All other dealers had links but you have to buy it yourself.
I test drove the car but had reservations about the high mileage and did not buy it until at least a week later after looking at the ad online, and learned more general info from bloggers about the model I was looking at. After I compared it to the other stuff people were offering in my price range,I realized that these guys only deal in high quality makes that have been well-maintained. The only catch with cars like that is other dealers over-charge. From day one I dealt directly with the manager, no in-between people, and he was very honest and upfront about what was possible given my budget, and we agreed on a price. The sticker was fair to begin with, but they were willing to negotiate.
On top of that, they have a good little shop right there on the lot and they were very good about taking care of a minor issue after I bought it. Some might say ""sold as is"" and charge a discounted rate..they did it for free. I expected stuff like that with the type of car I bought anyway-any car with high miles isn't going to be totally perfect. (But this one is about as close as you can get)
It's no wonder to me they've been there since 1968, I felt like the honesty and directness I got from them may be more on-par with those times than what a lot of people are used to these days. Definitely worth the trip.
