This is best apartment I have lived in in the seattle area. This place is super quiet, and very beautiful. I enjoy being a few minutes from the beach and from the public tenis courts. The management is super nice and super helpful the small amount of issues that I have had with place were taken care of very quickly by management. I love this place and really feel like its home for me and my wife. more

I just moved to the Kirkland area about 6 months ago and I absolutely adore these apartments! My husband and I just LOVE being so close to the beach and to the park, yet far enough from the busyness of the city to be comfortable. We make sure to take advantage of all of the amenities of the complex, the hot tub, the gym, the park next door with tennis courts, which is really the a big reason we chose this place, besides the HUGE rooms inside! :) Everything is very, very well taken care of as well :) LOVE it here and not planning on leaving any time soon :) more

I have never been this happy with an apartment situation! In addition to comfortable apartments, Juanita Bay is right across the street, a great park with a tennis court and baseball diamond is right next door. This area of Kirkland is gorgeous, full of friendly people and accessible to the I-405 and close to all sorts of quality dining and shopping experiences. Apartment staff is accommodating and friendly, responding promptly and effectively to maintenance needs, and our neighbors are easygoing and friendly. I couldn’t be more pleased to have picked The Village at Juanita Beach. more

I moved in a few months ago and so far everything has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and my apartment is secluded and quiet. Walking distance to beach, park, shopping center, and a world-class restaurant (Cafe Juanita). And it's way cheaper than downtown Seattle, where I was before. Two thumbs up all the way around. more

I've been living here for about two years with no intention of leaving anytime soon. All of my neighbours are friendly and considerate as are the two apartment managers, Bill and Marlene. The complex itself is within walking distance of a lakeside park, drug store, and plenty of dine in and take out food. I haven't had any major issues since I've moved in aside from the common problems associated with an older building. It's nothing that really bothers me, but Bill and Marlene have always been very understanding and have responded to my concerns without question. Basically, it's a great place to live and most certainly worth your time to check out. more

I have been living at Village at Juanita Beach for about 2 years. The complex is located across from Juanita Beach Park and the walking trail that follows the lake; this is great during the summer. It is also less than a 10 minute walk to the Juanita Shopping Center where you can find coffee shops and restaurants. I commuted to downtown Seattle for over a year by either catching the 255 bus at the corner of 98th and 116th or by driving 10 minutes to the South Kirkland Park and Ride and catching it there. Either way my commute was about 50 minutes one way but it was worth it since I didn’t have to transfer and I love the area I live in.\r \r As for the complex itself, the buildings are older in comparison to the newer complexes going up in the area and there are pros and cons to that. Being older, it has a more reasonable price tag than its neighbors, it was built in a time when sardine living wasn’t popular so it is spacious, and many of the tenants have been here for a long time. My apt is heated through baseboard heating in the bedrooms and forced air in the living area, this makes for an energy bill of about $120 in the winter (November-March) but only $30 in the summer months (July-September). During the summer the apt never gets too warm so not having an AC unit has not been an issue. \r \r I haven’t had many things break but whenever something doesn’t seem to be working appropriately (long running toilet, stove coil doesn’t fit well) I just email management and the issue is solved within the day. I’ve never had an issue ignored. I really like the management team they make living here easy. The other tenants in our building are respectful of our space and I don’t ever remember hearing them except on super bowl day. This is a really quite and welcoming neighborhood.\r more

I am the manager and a current resident at the Village at Juanita Beach Apartments since early 2010. In my capacity as a resident, I post my response to the review below by Sickoyo S to show readers that: (1) negative reviews are often driven by the perception that the former resident was improperly charged cleaning or damage fees; (2) negative reviews omit critical facts that a fair and reasonable person would consider essential to make an informed rental decision, and; (4) there really is another side of the story that offers those critical facts without the negative emotions and with viewable and verified documentation, and; (4) any reader who takes the time to visit and tour with us will receive contact information for our current residents so you can authenticate that what Sickoyo posted is…well, just false, for lack a better term.\r \r Sickoyo S is easily identifiable as one of two former residents who were roommates here at the Village. We keep good records here, including apartment and maintenance records. Sickoyo’s apartment and maintenance records show a different story with real and undisputable facts. In Sickoyos’ review below, Sickoyo “forgot” to mention: (1) the dirty and damaged condition of their apartment after they moved out; (2) the multiple pictures confirming the cleaning and damages costs as fair and reasonable; (3) the unpaid water and sewer bill that amounted to one-half of the total charges assessed on move-out, and;(4) the account, Sickoyo’s balance due account, was eventual turn over to collection for failure to fully pay these charges.\r \r Given the above, Sickoyo’s review comments below are the result of emotions run-amok—Sickoyo was, as Sickoyo see it, unfairly charged for cleaning and damage costs and the only way to balance those unfair costs is to “anonymously” post false and misleading reviews. When 50% of Sickoyo’s move out charges are due to their own neglect in not paying their water and sewer bill, we take the posting “hit.” Reasonable readers of Sickoyo’s review ought to be able to easily ascertain that the comments are so off base, so outlandish, that they cannot be true. Commonsense says that if one or more of Sickoyo’s comments were true, we would not be in business. \r \r Summary: Yes, the area is great but we also have the best price per square foot in the area, plus, the management, maintenance and neighbors are first class! I am confident that fair-minded and reasonable readers, when presented with real facts, and, real opportunities to authenticate the value of living here at the Village via current and past residents, will choose the Village as their next home.\r more
